a heads up to fellow sufu beer drinkers, I might have a deal worked out locally to get you the west coast beers you guys out east may want. I'm trying to get the details in writing but if there's an interest I maybe an outlet to get it to you guys.

shufon the pumpkin ale i picked up from alpine was pretty interesting, its aged in red wine barrels for 7 months then another 7 in white wine barrels. you definitely tasted both barrels and barely any pumpkin..

back to the IPAs now...

i definitely want to try my luck at homebrew i just never manage to find enough time to dedicate a day to it. maybe ill pull the trigger and buy the main parts first (carboy, huge pot, bottles) then just give it a go on a weekend.

then again im sure i dont need another expensive hobby.

can't wait for more episodes...for the life of me i cant remember what happened in the first 3 books only bits and pieces. i just remember being depressed afterwards since it appeared how people would interact during a shtf scenario.

I'm not sure if it's me but I can't taste hops in their IPA. I can definitely taste malt and alcohol though. haha.

shufon: that brute was pretty good! definitely more subtle with the champagne yeast.

I'll take a look when I stop by tomorrow and get you some prices. for the pumpkin beer and from what I remember reading it's slightly sour possibly more on the tart side. I might pick up a bottle to try it as I'll give anything a chance atleast once.

shufon let me know, there's spots near me that have a bunch of RR. the brewery I like is releasing a pumpkin styled sour tomorrow. I guess it wasn't ready to bottle after 7 months so they threw it into red wine oak

finally got to pick up the last of my beers for my swap buddy, one package of beer to him and one to my buddy in the pacific northwest. I'm starting to dislike going to breweries because I always leave buzzed.

the fuck is wrong with people on public transit that have bad hygiene. I would understand if your homeless but to sit around everyone smelling like fried balogna and sour milk isn't cutting it.
