They look fine. I''m waiting on a pair of the one wash from Hinoya, hopefully they'll be here tomorrow.

The only 501xx I own are the 55's as the 40's models are to tight fitting on me . I'm thinking of buying a a pair of 501xx 37's and was wondering how these fit compared to say the 55's? I like a bit of room in my jeans as I have quite heavy legs but don't want anything to baggy if you can understand that:-) Cheers.

Thanks for the replie's guys. 8" is a bit to tight for me. They must be a pretty slim fitting jeans if they're 8" at the bottom and not tapered down from the knee? I'm after a pair with say a 9 -10" opening to sit over trainers. I think I'll try a pair of the ED-47's which I think I'm right in saying are a touch looser? I'm really looking for something similar to my beloved APC English, sort of a relaxed fit but with a more fitted seat. I just don't like the baggy ass style of the Japanese repro's.

I've searched with no luck and was wondering if anyone has any idea of the leg opening of a pair of these in a size 33x34 or 32x34. (Dry)
Cheers.

The 44's I had a few years ago shrunk down to about 33 1/2 but that was after a few proper washes at 40C. I think that might have make a difference.

To be honest I think they're all meant to shrink down to a 33 leg or round abouts as this is what most are labeled. I've emailed Aero about this before and they have said the same thing. Maybe some people's are not getting to this size because they're cold washing them? I'm not sure

I've had a pair of 44's and 52's, both from Japan and both shrunk down to the tag size 33 leg after a few washes.

Any idea when the new season stuff comes out as I'm after a tag size 34x36 with the proper leg length.

Just received these from Kitchener and have since ordered a pair of RR's. I just thought I'd give them a go on here and MyNudies before sending them back to maybe save me the hassle of waiting on a refund. They're the Dry ones, not Selvage.

Think they're looser than both you named. They also don't have any belt hoops.

I've been wearing them today for a few hours and just don't like how they fit. This is my second pair I've bought and I think I'm just gonna give up on Nudies. They're as new with the book and receipt, sorry no box as I didn't receive one. I don't have a camera but you all know what they look like anyway I'm sure
£75 + delivery. I'll ship them anywhere, pm me with any questions. Thanks.

Just checked the measurements of a size 33 in the straight selvage against a pair of jeans I already own which fit me perfect and they're almost identical! Very tempted

I think Makoxboi's gonna be really pissed that we've all hijacked he's thread to talk about everything but how we accomplished our look

Hands down the most informative site I've seen, good job. Companies like APC and Nudie should taka a look.

I have a pair of 501 47's coming in the post and was wondering whats the best way to shrink them. With my last ones about a year ago I put them in the wash but ended up with a load of streaks all over them. I've read on hear about just laying them flat in the bath. I've ordered a 34 and would like to get them as close as possible to a 32 but without looseing as little indigo as possible. Just wondering what temp of water should I use and for how long should I keep them in for? Also I take it I won't get any streaks with this method as there will be no folds? Any help would be much appriciated.

Don't know if they're still made but the 33's and 37's were looser than the 55's. From what I've heard the 66's are a trimmer fit than the 55's. Personnally I like the 55's which fit me just right as I have bigger thighs than normal. I'd call them a relaxed fit.

Theres a few pairs on ebay at the minute but you'll pay top dollar. Think all dry LVC are STF.

They look fine to me mate. I'm not really into skinny fit jeans, not because I don't like them but because I can't fit into them. If its just the waist thats too tight I wouldn't worry as that should stretch out.

Custom charged on my Sugarcanes
in superdenim

Just picked my Sugarcane 47's up from the local parcel force depot where I had to pay £37 custom charges. I ordered they myself from Hinoya through Rakuten so I'm not too pissed of as I got them fairly cheap. This is the first time I've ordered something from Japan and was wonderinfg if it works the same as getting something from the US where you can get them to mark the value down to beat customs. (I live in the UK) By the way the jeans are the fucking business! Perfect fit on me! I was worried they'd be to tight as I have a big arse and thighs and could hardly get the 47 501's on.
