  1. I got these on Wednesday form Bears and they're some of the best fitting jeans I've had in a long while but they are just too long. I'm ordering an other pair hemmed already as I intend to wear a pair of these non-stop for a long time and just want them right. I've given them a cold rinse to see if maybe the inseam shrunk up a touch but it hasn't really. Also I spilt some red wine on them (beforew soak). Didn't want to mess with it as I'm not keeping them but to be honest you can't see it as the denim is that dark! I've tried to catch it in the picture of the knee but its very hard to see. These are very very stiff and also very very dark. Measurements are...

    Waist... 32"

    Inseam... A touch under 35"

    Thigh... 12"

    Knee... 9"

    Leg opening... 8.5"

    $160 delivered

Forgot to add, they are the One wash model.

  2. My size 33 one wash SD-103's have a 35" inseam which is really too long for me. According th thr D'artisan site this is correct for a pair that have been washed. I've done a bit of searching and from the few pairs I've seen in the Supermarket they seem to have a 36" inseam when raw. Can anyone confirm this? Just want to know so I know how much to get took off a pair of raw SD-103's if buying again.

  3. I've used Hinoya and Super-rag through Rakuten a few times before without any problems and was wondering if anyone else has had any luck with any others? I'm looking to order a pair of D'artisan's through maybe Bears but can remember someone saying they're order was canceled?

  4. I've been wearing my SC1947's for a about a week now and am well pleased with them. I'm in the market for a new pair of jeans but something a touch slimmer in the legs and seat. I say a touch slimmer as I'm not after something like Dior or similar. I've been looking at a few models below...

    D'ARTISAN SD-101

    D'ARTISAN SD-103 (maybe to slim)

THE FLAT HEAD 3005/5005 (not to sure what the difference is)

    SUGARCANE 1945

    WAREHOUSE 1001XX

I'm leaning towards the SC1945's as I've read a bit more about these but if anyone who has a pair of SC47's and any of the above can tell me the difference I'd appreciate it.

  5. Just got my One wash 47's size 32 from Hinoya (No custom charges!) and the fit is spot on. Nice and snug around the thighs and arse. The thing is, they're not super stiff but the fit is great and to be honest I don't want to soak them as the arse tends to stick out for a while. My question is, does anyone just wear the one wash straight out of the box without a soak if not needed? I'm not super crazy into combs behind the knees and that as they're gonna get some hard wear anyway as I work in a warehouse. Just wondering if they will fade as nice? Cheers.

  6. Was wondering if anyone knows any good quality labels who do some nice basic pieces like plain sweaters, 1/4 zips stuff like that. Basically, I'm after a few pieces similar to say some Stone Island/CP Company knits but without the hefty pricetag which I just can't justify.

  7. After wearing my 47's for a few days I realised that they were a touch loose so I soaked them in a warm bath for a few hours. To be honest I think the fit was worst after this with not much shrinkage and the anti-fit arse thing being really bad. I've now given them a machine wash at 40C and half an hour in the a low heat dryer and I've gotta say the fit is a lot lot better. More fitted in the seat and legs but the leg length is still the same and also the waist. I know a lot of purists don't like this sort of thing but to me its all about the fit and the good thing is my job lets me wear them 8 hours a day, 6 days a week HARD so I'd say I'll probably get a half decent fade on them anyway.

  8. Cheers. Wasn't sure if it worked the same when coming from Japan. And yeah they speak english. Very helpful and friendly people. Basically said at first they didn't post outside of Japan but seeing as it was ordered through Rakuten they would send it.
