i think Nudie doesn't use denim from kurabo. If my memory serves me well, they use kaihara denim.

It's always a shame to see nice quality selvage denim to be treated like that. It's often the same with EU-LVC line.

The thing with Wrangler jeans is that there is no visible selvage line, because their outside leg seam is similar to regular jeans inside leg seam.

Yes, they do reproduce their old Blue Bell jeans and denim jackets. Especially the jackets look fantastic.

Yeah, and what happened to Levi Red? They had a couple of good collections few years ago.

I have both Nudie RRDS and Pace slim drys. Both are 32' on waist and fit me well. So Nudies that is. At first Pace were guite tight on waist, but they stretched about half an inch.

Pace already does Japanese selvage jeans with hidden rivets, I have seen them in stores. No Ford-stitching on them though.

You might like Pace black selvage. Nice denim, normal fit.

Also Edwin's ed-47 and ed-77 are available in black denim. Both are good.

In Mitte, close to Adidas Store and Buttenheim, there is a store that has plenty of quality denim (Denime, Evisu, Japan-made Lee Originals, Fake London...). Can't remember it's name (sorry), but it's really close to Buttenheim and easy to find.

Swedish site www.zoovillage.com has some Tiger of sweden jeans.

LVC did those couple of seasons ago. They're a 1954 model, I think.

I think some japanese edwins have rainbow selvage as well.

Anybody have any info about a Japanese made Edwin WIN jean jackets? I just got one, and that one had a silver polishing cloth with it.

So are the buttons (or the part with "edwin" written to it) really genuine silver? Crazy...
