Samurai ZERO FABRIC T-Shirts & 15oz Baker PantsSamurai’s Baker Pants are finally back in stock; we had two small runs of these earlier this year and they disappeared quickly. We’ve had Samurai make us a new batch and they now come with a very fancy sparkly selvedge ID. These “baker” pants are made of a unique 15oz fabric developed by Samurai that has a nice deep olive color and has some great textural qualities we've not seen before in any fabric before.Samurai’s ZERO FABRIC t-shirts are now available in natural or kuromame (black soybean dyed) in both plain and pocket versions! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Samurai has done a crazy but beautiful thing.. In 2010 they bought a small farm outside Osaka, Japan, with the hopes they would be able to grow their own cotton with the intention of one day being able to make garments made of their own cotton, as in a truly vertically made garment. After twelve years they've been able to grow enough cotton to make t-shirts and of course they're as beautiful as the story behind them. The cotton is minimally processed in very small batches without the use of any harsh cleaning or whitening agents, also all fractured cotton seeds and all staple lengths are left in the cotton during the carding and spinning process for a truly unique fabric. We can really say we’ve never felt or seen a cotton jersey like this from any company. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The natural ones are made of a completely untreated cotton and the “kuromame” have been given a long bath in a locally grown kuromame (black soybean) “soup” to achieve the dark charcoal color.

Pure Blue Japan Pop-Up Beige-Core Jeans & Indigo Yarn-Dyed TeesPure Blue Japan’s PBE-019 is here. This model has a very interesting process used for the warp yarns. They've used a beige yarn as the base of the warp then dyed the yarn with pure indigo until it's a deep indigo blue color. This looks beautiful when raw and sure to age in a very interesting manner once worn in.These are available now in PBJ’s straight tapered fit along with a new run of their indigo yarn-dyed t-shirts.

EXCEL / TO THE MAXToday we release the third collection from our dear friend Excel.Excel has been doing some very nice t-shirts over the past few years and has gotten very good at creating a unique vintage style tee. This third collection we’re releasing this week is named TO THE MAX and consists of two different treated and printed t-shirts. Buzz Rickson Government Issue T-Shirts, Sun Surf Summer Shirts, & Sugar Cane JeansWe've got two new Sun Surf shirts this week, both of which sold at our 5 stores in record speed before we could get them online so they're now available in very limited numbers.Buzz Rickson comes through with a new line of basics nicely branded and packaged as you would expect from Buzz Rickson. These t-shirts have a versatile fit and come in a soft circular knit jersey made of a mix of medium and long staple cotton fibers. Available now in white or olive.We've also received fresh production runs of Sugar Cane's 1947 and 2014 jeans.

The Skunk Works Line by SeuvasSeuvas is back with a new Skunk Works line of canvas garments; this sub-line has some subtle sewing and detail differences compared to Seuvas and the garments are made in loose oversized fits. First up we have their Takeyari canvas coverall. This coverall version has some sewing detail differences compared to the regular Seuvas coverall, a new oversized fit, and a custom developed Takeyari canvas made at their 130 year old textile factory in Kurashiki City, Japan.As part of the Skunk Works line we also have their Easy Pants. These come with belt loops plus a rope "belt" which can be adjusted to the wearer's waist size instead of wearing a belt and come in a nice oversized fit.Along with these two new items we also have new runs of their 79A canvas workshirt and their very popular indigo chambray.

The Fine Creek Ale Deerskin JacketThe first non-horsehide jacket from Fine Creek is here! The Ale model is made of a beautiful deerskin with just as much character as their horsehide but in a more comfortable and pliable leather. These things are extremely soft and work great as an all-season leather jacket. The deerskin is a tea-core dyed 1.6mm Japanese tanned leather and the jacket is 100% cupra lined.Available now at all stores in limited numbers.

Samurai Natural Indigo Dyed Jeans & Athletic Socks
Natural indigo dyed jeans from Samurai, they’re back! The S211AX jean is made of Samurai's custom natural indigo denim which has a slubby feel and look combined with a very deep indigo color due to the natural indigo used to dye the warp yarns. This level of texture is something Samurai has been doing before most Japanese brands and has been a hallmark of the brand since its inception in 1997. The 211AX model comes in Samurai's straight tapered fit and has a comfortable top block, a medium level of taper below the knee, and a medium/high rise.
Along with these jeans we have their new Japanese-made athletic socks in two colors.

Iron Heart 633-SBG Jean, Denim Shirts, & Very Nice ThermalsThe 633 fit from Iron Heart is finally available in their 21oz SBG (Super Black Fade-To-Gray) denim. This denim is designed to start out super saturated black but fades over time like a blue (indigo) jean would, but this fades to a gray over time as opposed to a light blue color. The 633 silhouette from Iron Heart is a golden fit, one which works well on nearly every person who tries it on.Along with the 633-SBG jean we also have two denim shirts and long sleeve thermals in two new colors.

But also shout out to Sydney from SESF, who was super helpful and got me a pair of the SCBK2's after a long haitus haha.
The BSPBK and SCBK2 are basically the same jean but different production runs, Sugar Cane decided to name one run differently accidentally so the model number is different.

3sixteen Caustic Wave Jeans & Jacket + Faded Pink Garment Dyed T-Shirts3sixteen’s 40BSP Caustic Wave denim jeans and denim jackets are back!The "Caustic Wave" denim was developed with the intention of creating a fabric which would yield electric blue high friction points and a high contrast fade with regular wear. A strong variation within the weave of the fabric combined with strongly twisted yarns of uneven shapes and lengths creates an abrasive denim with a crisp and dry hand feel. This denim is unsanforized but the jeans come rinsed for easier sizing. This jean comes in a straight tapered fit with a medium rise and is available now at all stores and online.We've also received a new Faded Pink color in their garment dyed t-shirt series plus a fresh restock of their CT Classic Tapered indigo jean.

Studio D'Artisan Summer ShirtsWe have two very wild new Studio D'Artisan shirts this week.SDA have out-done themselves with this new Holy Lobotomy shirt by making one of the most impressive kasuri fabrics we've ever seen. These are indigo dyed and made on vintage dobby looms for a slightly uneven streaky look.We also have O△X’s new Temple of Boom denim shirt. Vintage indigo-dyed kimono fabrics from over a hundred years ago are cut into triangles then sewn together to create a new pattern. This "quilt" is then applied to the denim before the entire garment is hard washed to lighten the indigo shade of the denim and kimono fabric. Wild stuff.

Pure Blue Japan 16.5oz Slub Denim JeansToday we have Pure Blue Japan’s 013 and 019 fits in a tasty denim style they've developed to contain just the right about of slub in a nice medium weight 16.5oz unsanforized (but Self Edge-style rinsed) denim. This comes in their popular straight tapered fit and slim tapered fit. You can find both models at all stores now.

Strike Gold Loopwheeled T-Shirts and Heavy Leather BeltsThese are the ultimate loopwheeled t-shirts, no surprise that they come from Strike Gold, a brand highly dedicated to pushing the boundaries of both selvedge denim and loopwheeled basics.This heavy 100% cotton fabric is made on vintage loopwheeling machines in Japan. Not many of these machines still exist in the world as they're difficult to maintain and run at a very slow pace. This jersey is produced and pulled down by gravity to create a zero tension knit, creating that trademark horizontal pattern you seen in a well worn in loopwheeled t-shirt or sweater. Available now in black, white, and a new navy color. One sizing note.. to be able to offer these in XXL they cut up the tubular knit fabric (only for this size) to create a larger body t-shirt, making them (we think) the only Japanese brand offering loopwheeled tees up to a XXL size.We've also received a full restock of Strike Gold heavy cowhide leather belts in tan and black.

Flat Head Spring Flannel & Chromexcel Engineer BootsFlat Head engineer boots are back! Here we have the ultimate engineer boot, made by a small shop which generally only produces boots for Flat Head's line of footwear which they’ve been producing since 1999. Made of a natural pull-up Chromexcel leather, the amount of natural oil in this leather is unreal due to the aniline "dying" process the leather goes through. This run was custom made for Flat Head so that the boot will show a little extra wear from even occasional wear. These will look really great once broken in. They come complete with custom made brass and iron buckles, Vibram's #700 and #705 heel and sole, a hand stitched shaft seam, and a Japanese made steel shank for sole stability.We also have Flat Head's new Puffing Mekitsa spring flannel shirt, available now at all stores along with engineer boots in two colors.

The new S520XX21oz jean from Samurai is their flagship heavy weight denim jean in their newest relax tapered fit. Unbelievably nice denim with a perfect fit for those wanting a classic fit top block of a jean with a little taper below the knee.Samurai comes through with a new t-shirt made of their heaviest weight cotton jersey fully inspired by vintage work-tees complete with a red Samurai Work Clothes pocket tag and a narrow 3-needle collar ribbing.We also have a fresh run of their blank t-shirt 2-packs. These blank tees are circular knit (no side seams), have a narrow double-stitched collar, and come lightly rinsed.
