AFTER months of whispers surrounding his future within his eponymous Maison, Renzo Rosso has confirmed that Martin Margiela is no longer directly involved in the designing of the label. Unsubstantiated whispers have suggested Haider Ackermann could be set to take the reigns, but Rosso insists the new direction lies in a new team.
"Martin has not been there for a long time," Russo told WGSN. "He is here but not here. We have a new fresh design team on board. We are focusing on young, realistic energy for the future; this is really Margiela for the year 2015."
Rosso, founder and owner of Diesel, bought a majority stake in Maison Martin Margiela in 2002 and remains involved in both companies today.

i change my mind about the collection everytime i look at the pictures again. some of the volumes are beautiful but a few are just horrendously off. the double breasted jackets are my favorite.

The enigmatic Rei Kawakubo has come together with plenty of unusual partners' date=' but her latest collaboration just might beat all. It’s with The Beatles. Comme des Garcons and Apple Corps Ltd. – the London-based company that manages the legacy and musical catalog of the British band - are teaming up to launch a new collection of bags under The Beatles/Comme des Garcons label, with the first styles slated to debut mid-November at Dover Street Market, Kawakubo’s multi-brand emporium in London, and Gyre in Tokyo, with additional distribution to follow. While details were scarce at press time, the deal with Apple Corps is a long-term one, and could see Kawakubo also design other items such as T-shirts.[/quote']
I like comme, but this collab is totally random:confused:

was really good, except for the shaky (intentional?) camera shots. storyline and characters were very well crafted.
