i think it's just normal reaction from people not being part of the particular club just as if a regular person would suddenly have alot/too much cash in their hands and started using them somewhat carelessly. same can go for clubs as well. arsenal have had a pretty steady climbing to the top since the late 80s/ early 90s while a club like chelsea just had revamp of their financial structure basically over night..i used to really like chelsea in the 90s when they were one of those great outsider teams that noone except the locals from the area rooted for. it had "coolguys" like erland johnson, dennis wise, michael duberry and the likes and they sported that commodore logo. must have even been one of the last clubs to get a non-eu player in the squad?yeah thats some serious rambling

if you want sneakers that are made for jd sports only then i guess you get them at jd sports but other than that i hardly see anything of interest in jd sports whenever i visit london. but yeah, jd sports have a good deal of stores..one in oxford st and one right over the street of the tube station up in camden if i remember correctly. footlocker sometimes got some good stuff on the sales racks but for euro exclusive I am guessing size? and footpatrol may be your best bets. I think that slammin kicks store closed down.

i dont know about jd store outlets but they got tk maxx where you most likely will find some sneakers marked down.

after reading this thread again, I felt inspired to try and restore my black suede plaintoes. Not really stoked on putting them in the oven I used a blow-dryer which worked really well! Really happy right now:)

I'm not sure what you'd have to pay as you're not a Norwegian citizen. If you are looking for a beautiful city/town, I think bergen will blow you away. It's actually a very beautiful town, much nicer than say Oslo (atleast that is my opinion). I also think some other person that aren't biased like me (I think it was poly800rock) agreed with me on that part.

I think 18 000 NOK will work fine. It's not like you'll be a baller or anything but you only have yourself to think about, right? And if so, 18 000 will be more than enough, trust me. I think any normal person with only theirself and no loans to think about could probably get by with 12 000 after tax as well.

I guess a minimum monthly wage (7,5 hours a day, 5 days a week) here would be around 18 000 NOK, maybe a little less. An average wage I have no idea what would be.. Probably around 25 000 or something.. Both these figures are before tax though.. The tax is normally around 30-40% I think. Maybe someone else who is more familiar with being on payrolls in Norway should chime in here though. Nor do I have any idea what architects normally earn either, or interns for that matter.. So I don't really know what to answer you when it comes to whether it's ok to ask for 20-30 000. Maybe you should ask them how much they normally pay to interns and tell that you don't know how much money is needed to get by in Norway.

Bergen is not a very big city so maybe there aren't enough options for you. I guess even Oslo would be very big compared.. Have you thought about Stockholm perhaps?
