  1. None taken... I actually think they are overpriced (actually any jean over $100 imo is overpriced) and I realize the wash isn't spectacular, but I like slim bootcuts and love Levis so there aren't really any other options for me.

cant_sleep-Both of them cost 178.00 at the Levis Store in SF.

  2. I like mine alot. I have the slim bootcut. The are kind of a relaxed slim with just the slightest bootcut. The sizing can be kind of weird though, so I'd encourage you to contact the seller for actual size info to make sure your getting something that fits.

  3. just got these.. thought I'd share pics

They seem to run a little larger than the premium skinners--about a half inch longer rise and a inch larger in the waist and thighs

    this pair is called justice

It has a nice greenish tint and almost feels rigid...

I don't know how else to describe these other than very soft and stretchy

That song is amazing. The credits to In Good Company were on while I was doing random shit and I started listening to the words. It gave me a lump in my throat.

  6. it seems there is a ton of info on 501's out there... anyone know how to date 517's? I just got a pair of 517s off the bay with some great wear and would like to get the same jean to try to reproduce the same results, but not sure if they are the kind you can buy at the store now or an earlier edition

  8. I'm almost certain that is what its called--when you shorten your jeans and re-attatch the original hem. Has anyone had this done? If so, could you please post closeup pics, especially of the inside? I'd like to do this or have this done to a pair of jeans I really like that are a tad bit too long. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am on the same timeline with my skinners.. Your wallet spot is definately more faded, but my knees have more than yours..

A little jealous because I have a little blue spot on the right thigh that drives me crazy.. Itried to clean a stain and was drunk and not thinking :)

I have searched for a backup pair and evidently Levi's is not making these anymore :(

I just purchased a second pair, because they shrank too much after I soaked them. If you google them, this one gay interest store that has them on sale will pop up within in the first few matches.

  11. It depends on what you want them for... If you want them as a baggy t-shirt they are ok, but if you want a flattering slimmer shirt, they suck
