Hinoya has these in stock now, even in sizes 36 and 38 which I was saddened to see self edge never stocked (since those are the sizes I usually take)
The nylon tag under the ostrich patch on the Hinoya pair is different than on my SEXSC02, and mine dont have a "Made in U.S.A." tag.
Plus, Hinoya is advertising them as "One Wash"?

No it's more of a digg at him that stems from my jealousy.

Rapha Fixed plus fours. Wasn't really sure about these, but whatever. They turned out better than I imagined they'd be. Quality and fit are what you'd expect. Perfect.
Riding in my Iron Hearts is going to get bananas in the summer heat, so...

Rollerblading is pretty fucking stupid. It's basically street ballet on wheeled shoes.
Don't get me wrong, the older I get the stupider skateboarding seems to become. And I've skated for 15 years. It's street ballet on the stuntwood. I don't fuck around and throw myself down shit anymore, but I can tell you that pushing down the street to grab a cup of coffee is still one of the best feelings on earth.
And the culture that arose from surfing, that begat skateboarding runs way deeper than anything that will ever form in "aggresive inline skating"
I used to think that cycling was one af the gayest looking sports on planet earth. Then I rode a friends road bike and I started to understand what an amazing machine it really was. Then I started riding fixed and I had an even better understanding of what an amazing machine it was. Now I can fully comprehend the technology that goes into cycling and the beauty in it. I don't wear spandex, and I dont race, but there's a method to the madness and I guess you'd have to hop on a bike or understand what it's like to race for two weeks through the Pyrénées in order to appreciate it all.
By the way, bicycle motocross as well as freestyle bicycle motocross are also equally as stupid as rollerblading, skateboarding, and doing tricks on a fixed gear bike... But none of this matters.
I'm going to get some coffee.

New Deda Pista stem and bar setup:
0 -
Did you ever flip the stem? For some reason I remember it looking like it had a lot of rise last time you put up photos. The Deda stem should look dope on there.
No this just come today, the old stem was a Deda Eleminti, but it was a road stem, and in the first photographs of this frame (about a year ago) had a seriously positive rise. Then I flipped it and the rise was what you saw in those last photographs.
The new Deda is track specific. 70 degrees, negative.

New stem came today: Deda Elementi Newton Pista, 123gram, negative rise piece of deliciousness.

No they're actually completely rideable. Well for me they are at least. The forward section of the flat is rounded like a regular bar so my finger wrap perfectly. The rear section of the flat is thin (aero or whatever) so it not really like I can wrap my thumb around the back, like I would with regular bars, but it totally works. I can get my weight way out over the bars too, wich I'm not used to from riding drops.
I'll ride some distance this weekend and see if I'm still feelin'um.

I don't know, I dig the bars. Tons of flat. Whatever. Better photographs this weekend.

Congratulations Sidney. I wish I could be out there for your opening.

The post and seat are strictly for the comfort of my ass. The bars are wrapped and the carbon is under the seat too, so it's not like I'm rolling a Colnago C50 on full HED disks and FSA carbon cranks. But to each his own I totally understand. I'll post pictures of my Bianchi McClaren when I get a chance. It's currently undergoing wind tunnel testing however, so you'll have to wait on those.

end product = ugly, imo
The same way I feel about riser bars and Velocity wheels. Retard parts for hipsters.
