one of the deeply anti-consumerist bands having their anti-consumerist images on high-priced rock t-shirt for THE hype®-consumerist brand
true. but all of these collaborations are mutual business agreements. so, in this case the dead kennedys jumped on to do this.

Anyone have any experience with Poler's stuff in terms of performance?

20k 3L shell for $160 seems like a bargain.
their bags are for sure the worst quality.

Thanks team, awesome tips there. Thinking of ditching Nagasaki - maybe next time I'll make it, and incorporating Hiroshima with Miyajima. Nara and Kobe can be side trips whilst staying Osaka as they sound like beautiful places to visit for a short period of time.
If anyone can shed light on tattoos in Japan that would be ace. I've heard it isn't the rave over there and some/most Onsen refuse entry to those who are tattooed - which could cause problems...
just cover up the tats, you'll be fine.

- Is Mt. Fuji really worth visiting as a side trip from Tokyo? I've heard it can be underwhelming unless you are actually climbing the beast.
- Would day-trips to the following cities be suffice, are any worth visiting overnight opposed to an extra night in Osaka?
- Nara, Hiroshima, Nagasaki & Kobe
Thank-you in advance!!
skip mt fuji unless you have time.
I'd say Hiroshima is a real good visit. It will be a sober one, but definitely a place everyone should visit if you have the time. Might as well check out Miyajima as well. I did a jam packed day visiting both Hiroshima + Miyajima and back to hotel in Osaka in one day.

why is Japan so 'slow' in regards to this kind of stuff?
or am I completely off the mark?
it's not that they're slow because if they really wanted to, they'd trump everyone in teh techzzz.
people like physical things, it's just a cultural thing.

i'm born and raised in NYC, been to all the usual good burger joints in NY and vicinity. but i gotta say Japan has better burgers in general. worth a bite i'd say.

Skip burgers, beer, coffee. Coming from bay area you will be disappointed.

It's not like my expectations are CRAZY high, it's just kind of sad that basically every coffee chain in Korea serves stuff that demolishes the 'best' stuff in japland.
dunno about all that
