what's the effect of direct sun exposure in the color?

they do look much better than anything Levis has to offer. not sure about their durability, but these must have been authentically broken in for like one year? also, unbelievably cheap!

45rpm
in superdenim
I thought 2x a year was the standard. The cotton Full Count uses is also from the same country and harvested only once a year. Is it really so? the jomons seem fantastic though.

Me too. If you don't sell it another alternative would be giving it to a friend. I'm sure they must be pretty nice.

Impressive quality. Customs should not exist for small internet shopping.

maybe you have to size down? because the size they give is after shrinkage but before stretching so very soon you end up with one or two inches too big.
btw, nice pics. thanks.

sorry for you. maybe try re-selling it

if you oversize your sd xx3 they will be similar to the rescues. the sd xx1 seem to be a very traditional high-rise loose cut.

pretty good for distressed jeans. not sure if it's worth that much though

looking good. I like the wallet fading.
not much progress on mine yet, although I'm wearing them every single day... I think I'll post some pics when they're 6 months.

They will look like 90 yrs old at 35!
About the topic, US'ers have smaller brains and Japanese have bigger brains. It all comes down to it. In Japan the number of people with an IQ of 130+ is 30%, while in the US it is 2%.
So the western US system encourages you to make cheap denim and sell it for a fortune, while in Japan they make a good product for themselves. The US'ers get money and the Japanese get decent denim. Then the US'ers pay their money to the Japanese to get their stuff.

Quote: 3) Seriously though, I would stay away from any jeans that aren't made by a traditional jeans manufacturer (or one who recreates these type jeans). So this would mean looking at LVCs, Lee repros, Edwins and a zillion other Japanese brands if you have the budget.0

not exactly the same. you can tell that by the price.

sometimes people feel that politics are all about robbery, hypocrisy and corruption, so it makes people sick to think about it. like, in some places, there's no hope for politics, so better to forget about it. we pay a lot of taxes for it to be taken care of. that's the case where I live. you don't feel like playing such a low-level game as politics.

Brian SD / Wild_whiskey posted pics of slim Calis a while ago. Don't know if I would have his permission to post them here, though. Maybe you can search for it.

they are made from selvage Japanese denim, exclusive to APC.

"The thing I don't like when people put their look together is that the more
elegant they are, the more arrogant attitude there is in their face. They
don't look human anymore. They look like a theatre person." -Jean Touitou
Interesting he used the expression "theatre person". I personally avoid TV, cinama and theatre at any costs. It is just BAD influence. It would probably reach you through other people, but not reach me directly. The only television things I watch are Japanese, because they are better persons, a bit appart from the western mistakes.
As to clothes, for me it is a search for quality and refinement. I think society lacks quality and refinement, increasingly, like when you compare it to decades or centuries ago, there seems to be a deterioration. I don't like banal things. However, to compensate for this and not make me a snob, I like wearing what looks most minimalistic, simplistic, worn out.
