Anyways, they're both hot women - and sure Ozawa is an AV star, but people do that same stuff in the private of their own homes... difference is that what she does is open for the public to see (well, and some of the stuff she does probably isn't done by regular people + like 3 of their friends)

Shimokitazawa had a bunch of thrift stores if you're interested in that. Daikanyama is great for clothes, and there's a few places in Harajuku (for the love of god stay away from Takeshita)... Just wander around and you'll find tons of awesome places to get stuff at...

Agreed, shopping sucks. At least it'll allow you to save money to buy a house or condo or whatever...

Yeah, it's weird. I lived in Setagaya for a while, and there'd be a few little stores that would sell stuff like American Eagle and Abercrombie. They weren't very big shops, so they were probably doing something similar by getting people to bring stock over. We should just start trading them clothes or something.

I actually like The Blue Hearts - started listening to them about 6 years ago... my gf at the time had a bunch of their stuff. Yeah, the band broke up a while ago, but a couple of them started another band, The High-Lows, so that's probably worth taking a look into. Not the same type of music, but I'll agree with tedsu on the Tokyo Jihen and Shiina Ringo.
