  1. Yes, it's a real krama, actually two tied together, I bought 10 at the Russian market this morning. It was hard to find a black and white one, I tried 4-5 stalls before finding the right ones. It's was quite a bitch trying to figure out how to wrap it and look right though.

  3. I'm telling you, the rigid strummers are the only good cap e product I've seen....and they are really nice. better denim than any of the other pieces, and probably the nicest fit Levi's has come up with in the last 5 years. For Fall, they are introducing more fits (skinny, carrot leg, etc...)

Red is still around, it's now the lower priced product of the 2....

  4. Just picked up a pair @ the levi's store in sf...for 138.00 they are pretty nice. NOT selvedge, but a really nice cross-hatchy greenish casted denim that isn't too rough...strummer slim fit is really nice.

They did have zip and pullover hoodies, 3/4 styles. copped a savage skulls baseball tee...the funniset thing I saw was a kid in there wearing tow different dunks....hilarious.

    Staff is mad cool.

Union on the other hand has a BUNCH of good stuff right now, Neighborhood, wtaps, visvim....

  7. THanks! I'm there next month, but for 2 or 3 daze of whirlwind shopping for work, and I know my way around shibuya, harajuku, daikanyama (sP?) pretty well, but not so much aoyama...i heard blackflag isn't the easiest to find, but i have a general idea now.

RATS, I believe, is a new line associated with Tenderloin. REALLY nice tees (mostly black w/ white graphics, but every design I've seen is fresh and new and not something inspired by something already out there. I'm pretty sure it's right by eYe.

  8. Paul,

There is actually a tiny resurgence of oe/oe, esp. with the 80's retro thing happening. I had a funny conversation with the Cone Denim product developer the other day about it and we were discussing the whole thing...
