what kind of effect is soaking them in h2o and woolite black supposed to have?

is the little red tab on evisu denim ever written in japanese? not sure if my pair is legit. any other telltale signs?

it's difficult to tell just how they'll fit, because mine were way too big. the denim is really nice. i don't know enough to tell you what kind, but it's got a great texture and feel to it. and the color is really nice. my guess is the leg opening will be fine. i can't stand jeans that have a slightly tapered look even when they're 'straight leg' and i don't think these'll have it. hope that helps some...

i ordered some apc anglais's. got em the other day. i wear a 36 in rogans, so i ordered a 36 in the apc's. they were way too big. gonna get a 34. hope that gives you some idea. i don't plan on washing them anytime soon once i get the right size. but i hope when i do there won't be too much shrinkage. anybody know if they're sanforized? also, can anybody shed any light on what they look like if you don't wash them for 6 months or so, like nudies?

how much does the color change when you wash the rigids that first time? and second? are they still pretty rigid after that?

where can i go online to learn more about vintage levis, 501xx, etc? and if i was to get a pair of shrink to fit rigid 501s, what size do i get if i don't plan on washing them for a long time? they'll be way too big until i wash them, right? but i want them to stay rigid/dark...

don't the rigid shrink to fits that you can get at kohls also say 501xx?

i know i'm asking stupid questions, i just dont know the answers, so...

hey. i'm trying to decide between a pair of the a.p.c. selvedge jeans and helmut lang bootcuts. never tried the a.p.c.s. how do they fit in comparison to the helmut langs or like a diesel kratt? i'd have to get them on the internet, so what would you recommend in sizing? go with my regular size? or go up a size? thanks for your expertise!
