Nashvilles are a nice fit, i would describe as pretty regular, traditional 5pkt, so q a large rise and hence baggy arse, straight leg. Nice leather patch, selvedge coin pkt etc. Bout perfect for me, and the selvedge strip is pretty wide, unlike say LVC, which i think aethestically looks good.

Edwins (nashvilles and greenvilles) are 70 and 80 respectively at Interstate London as far as i remember, though there is a guy with loads of nashvilles on ebay for 45 who provided me with my pair!! Other pairs pop up every now and then, includinf yoshi red tokyo selvedge jean, not that i know anything about it really beyond the name! I wouls recommend Nashvilles though.
Not sure about APC retail, though would be interested also.

Nice, im going to keep my eye out for the X-Line, i like the idea of some selvedge denim in modern cuts (im presuming they are more modern cuts?). DOes anyone know any other models in that range, specifically and 5pkt jean with a little lower rise than a traditional 501cut?
cheers

Yo whatsup with some acid washed joints with the elastic waist AND elastic cuffs so you can scruntch that shit above your hightops... I NEED THOSE. one time I pissed in my pants in Kindergarden and the lady in the office gave me a pair of those joints to wear and they were FIRE with my Converse that were like one color on one foot and another color on the other foot.... DAMN. Shit I was STUNNING em when I got back to class. The kids couldn't even tease me, except for this one little bitch in the back row who was all like "Selvege this, selvege that" but that kid ended up shitting his pants at the carnival on the moon bounce and I was like "haha look who's gonna have to wash their raw denim now you little fuck."

silly me, i didnt notice how the left leg (right as you look) had twisted too!Quote:Yes, the selvedge thread is yellow. Ringring is right, both legs twist around the same direction about the same amount.
We should really start a meta-thread of links of and actual denim pics. That would be neat.

5eps looking nice there man. nice subtle coin pocket. not sure about the leather label, but i think that will look nice after some wear probably, is the cut straight up normal 501, looks it.

funny how much more onje leg of the d+ds has twisted round more than the other. is it a yellow selvedge thred or just washed out?

yeah i think prps is 210+, tho there were some in duffer down to 70 pounds a few months ago, new year sales i guess. if they had been 501 style i might have considered them, but they were tampered modern type cut thing, nice colour tho. i didnt see any nice jeanidge in selfridge to be honest.
sorry to cover well trod ground i think but are there any physical sellers of denime in UK are is it internet only?

btw guys, for my next pair what would you all recomend, im wanting 5pocket selvedge but with a lower rise as im not too well endowed in the arse-filling department
.
Whenever i see my mum she says 'it look like you have a nappy on pull those jeans up around yr waist!!'
So im looking for something slightly more 'fitted' but not in a trendy way at all and should be raw or 1-wash and cheap as poss!!!!!
ta and other people get some photos up in the denim-porn post!

serge they look awesome...pretty heavy wear for a month, tho i guess your job is pretty physical as its to do with wine. a friend of mine is doing a wine law masters degree near aix-en-province btw, i went there for easter it is soooo nice and pretty warm too for april, where are you in france?!Quote:I used to bang Diesels a couple of years ago. I sold all of my pairs 3 + years ago when I could still get some money for them. they were cool when they were the only distressed jeans out there, but now everyone is sporting that look. The look I have been sporting ever since is raw, unwashed, and dirty as fuck. It works for me! We are very fortunate to have slim and med rise selvage denim available these days. You couldn't find much last year.
