Well, I'm a SF native living in NYC now...
SF pros:
weather (usually warm during spring and autumn)
outside activities drive away (windsurf, snowboard, surf, waterski, boarding, etc.)
homey feel (small tight neighborhoods)
many ethnic eats
diverse life
drive a car everywhere
nice public transportation system
SF cons:
unpredictable weather in summer/winter
few nightlife activities
minimal citylife
tourists everywhere
limited time public transportation system
drive a car everywhere
nyc pros:
4 season
cultural events daily
meet more people
boro flavors (each has its own flavor like vast-sized neighborhood)
fast paced vibe
extensive public transportation (and some are 24 hrs)
nyc cons:
winters suck the joy out of you
high $$$ of living
no outside activities (thus many gyms everywhere)
no car
cluttered apt
so conclusions: if u dig physical outie activities stick with SF and if you dig city life all the way without access to anywhere, stick with nyc.

I wonder if you know any NYC shops that carries Neighborhood clothing other than the Union?
I've been looking around for a while and can't seem to find any...

yep... got myself a pair from the union too... and the tee's nice though wish it was on a purple tee with white logo.

i'd still give 100% love to rivington, too. i think it deserves more kicks than other shops... maybe they're not tryin' to make the shop more prominent than others... i think of rivington's as a hood to hang out instead of a shop...

i guess atmos wanted to get away from downtown/brooklyn areas and try to be more innovative... it's kinda of a flashback for union - being one of the first sb shops to open in the exclusive soho area. what's next for a new shop to pop up... DA BRONX where all the good sh*t started...
dontcaretoomuchforcrap, fuck those soho, les, and dumbo shops...

just happened to be in harlem today so took the liberty of checking this address and the address does look legit as i peeked inside the shop and it's exactly what i saw in the picture... it's gonna be a huge shop as there were so many 'frames' on the wall for the kicks. i just hope that they'd be able to finish the construction just in time for the jan. 26th party... wonder if it's gonna be first japanese shop in harlem (i must say it's an AWESOME location)

yeah pretty much... it's one of the oldest adidas dealer in SF... if you wanted to find an adidas antique, this is the place to start with...

i love that shop!

yeah... that's what my friend showed me a picture of that.. but then it could be a fictitious picture...

heard that it'll open on jan. 26th and atmos throwing a party on that day, but i do not even know exactly where it is... there's a rumor that it'll be open in harlem.

as well as extreme nasty dishes such as bulls' woody or turkey's cute nuts.

It kinda sucks to put a hefty tariff on those beloved kicks. Think everyone in NYC's gonna camp out at the 'das shop on Jan. 14th?
300 pairs... that's pretty low for the worldwide!

also i think most locations on the haight on the map are opposite of what they should be...
(i'm a SF native, though i live in nyc at this moment)

citrus club on haight near shrader is not to missed for its delicious garlic edamames... downside... pppaccckkked.

- supercore on bedford too. (it's not on the map but it's near the bridge) great environment and friendly staff (coffeehouse and japanese tapas)

or try kenka in ev or supercore in w-burg.

yeah went to the orginal shop today too with 2 japanese friends and i don't think the city series are limited because they said that japan adidas will even sell NYC ones. guess i'm eyeing the NUMBER UNO edition now...

wow... never thought that this thread would last longer than 2 pages... i know that bape's losing its audience, and it seems like many want the BAPE authencity that they have the URGE to purchase bape products from bape shops only.
if nyc shop comes up with many us limited edition, bape would put itself back to the market with many japaneses flocking to the shop.
also, heard rumors that it took bape forever to open the shop due to U.S. copyright infringement (planet of the ape and bape logos)

i'm sorry i don't have their addresses as my cousin showed me around! hope you hk peepos can provide their addresses...
juice's awesome as i got a few stuff from there... 50% for ALL clothing...
