  1. Kee Club's food is supposed to be really good, and it's open to the public for lunch. I got this information from a friend so it'll be worth your while to double check.

Other clubs in Central which are Hip at the moment includes Hei Hei and Volar --- not sure about their policy but I think Volar's members only, but they might make an exception for you since you're a tourist :)

I live in Hong Kong but don't find much shops that are enticing --- I.T. group's put out a good selection of japanese labels, but I'd prefer shopping in Europe, or Tokyo.

    This is all random.......

  2. The Billionaire Boys Club line is currently under Bape.

There should be two Busyworkshop in Europe, one in London and one in Italy

This season's T-shirts' probably sold out; I saw them quite awhile ago in the London BWS

They only come in black, white plus another colour. I want the purple one that Pharrell wore in Gwen Stefani's Hollaback Girl video. Anyone knows where I can find one?

    Le Bon Marche (Paris)

    Dries van Noten (Antwerp)

    Mars(jewellery store) (Tokyo)

    Chrome Hearts (Hong Kong)

Vending Machines (I mean literally, so they're not shops) (Tokyo)

  4. I think the teaching English in Japan route would be the easiest for a foreigner ( I know quite a few people who did that and ended up as company managers). You might need to be competent in Japanese though, so you should definitely check that out. One of those teaching program's called JET.

As for London, what sort of work are you looking for? I know that the big corporates there are quite keen on hiring people from the states, but maybe it depends on the industry.

  5. Hi everyone, I've just gone back to Hong Kong for a spell of work which requires suits. Having done the rounds in the shops I can't find a single suit to my liking (the cuts and fabrics and patters are ALL WRONG). Therefore, can anyone recommend some tailors? I need one that does ladies' suits as well. Help will be very much appreciated!

  6. I find the menswear from All Saints not enticing at all. It's also overpriced and you can definitely get much better stuff with your money elsewhere.

The womenswear is better than the guys' stuff, but it seems the best thing they do these days are skirts.

  7. I don't have a problem with my Rogans Either except I put them in the wash too often and there are now holes and frays(?) in at least 5 places. The cut's still the best, but perhaps most people would need at least 1-2 size up to get the best fit.

Btw, with regards to a post above, Jones Clothing in London Covent Garden (if that's what you're talking about), is gone (unless they reopened elsewhere). The place for Denims these days would be either Liberty, Selfridges or Duffer of St. George.

  8. half/half... I'm short and the rogans are too long and it breaks my heart to have them altered.

Otherwise I'd go for the cut, especially for cigarette/drainpipes style which looks horrendous when cuffed. (i'm a girl in case anyone finds this strange)

O, and I think cutting needs to be done by either the in store tailors or really good ones otherwise the jeans will go completely out of shape and crappy.

  9. Wow... lots of patterns...

But it is so male dominated... any gals got some of those simplistic ones?

You know... those you'd do right under your belly or just above your hips?

  10. What a sad story... I guess it happens from time to time.

I also believe not a lot of CEOs in fashion groups know what they really should be doing... most brand failures are due to mismanagement (the rest is becuz the designer sucks -_- which we're not discussing here), which I think in this case it is. There are a lot of Helmut Lang fans out there, and the first thing they'd want from the brand, is usually a pair of jeans. Keeping this sort of diffusion line (or products) is one of the best ways to keep up exposure and widen consumer base, and cutting back on denim is a completely stupid decision where it makes up that much of the revenues. Every designer nowadays (almost) carry their own denim line, so a cutting back is just... WTF...

And I also think Prada (as in Prada Prada) is getting crappier by the day. The designs are there as if to taunt and test to when will the customers throw in the towel and not buy from them anymore. What the hell are they thinking! (and those fashion critics... are you sure that prada is that amazing?!)

Another CEO I'm not a big fan of is the new Gucci group CEO. First thing on the agenda is to tell Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen (Publicly i might add) that if they don't make a profit within 3 years they will be... (that he didn't say). Bad bad decision. Poorly for the group image... isn't it that the best CEOs in a profiting company start with not doing much (to maintain both the public and the employees' confidence) then make small changes? Hmm.....

  11. For whom it may concern

I just want to say something about bathing ape products authenticity and people's perception to this matter.

I have come across few buyers and people either on ebay and shops. They pretend to know everything about Bapes and they think they are the people who can actually tell whats authentic and whats not but in most cases, they are wrong.

You cant expect the manufacturer to produce all Bape shirts to be identical, there are always discrepancies, but that doesnt mean they are fake. People should start to realise a mere difference you see on pictures regarding the logo, the sleeve, or the material, do not mean they are fake.

I would suggest people should start consider buying bape stuff in bape stores rather than on ebay, or from other online-shops. Stop complaining after you bought some fake stuff just because it is your own fault.

  13. Does anyone know which stores in the US stock them, and which ones deliver overseas? The label's in a lawsuit (for some obscure reasons) in England and so no English stores are selling their wares. Help Appreciated!
