  1. I don't know, of course something went wrong, 40 degrees is recommended by goretex label, but honestly I don't care anymore, I gave up on goretex even before this happened since I find other materials performing far better.

Just to mention a couple: schoeller and SISP nylon-R have been treated far worst, worn almost everyday, in contact with skin, threw them at the bottom of my training bag with dirty clothes, washed and dried with any program and stay still look as new.

just wash your gtx according to tag instructions and never wear it against bare skin if you don't want delam, it's not rocket science.

It seems to me that it is.

I have a j1a 2.5 that I always took perfect care of it.
Never bare skin, never in bad environment, always nikwash, always in the closet when off season, you name it...

Still it got some delamination on the collar, okay not visible, in a folding part, I thought...

then I wore it only a couple of time in the last season, because of good weather, then "okay, I clean it, put in closet".

Nikwash at 40 degrees, then dry to fix the TX waterproof and it came out fully delaminated. After that I said goodbye to GTX products, especially considering that I have older schoeller and Stone Island textiles that are still in perfect condition and fully waterproof.

    P17 difference .. both in Sz S.

as you can see, the new iteration in ds is cut shorter than the old iteration in stotz.

and the waist cinch does have an issue with cinching.. pulling on the strap to cinch is much harder compared to my other pants that has the same system. Maybe it just needs to be broken in.

    anywhoo.. thought I’d share.

I got them today and I don't really know if they are my cup of tea.

I couldn't find any issue with the belt system, but I found them really too short. I have 2 pair of cropped Rick Owens, that I wear all the time in the summer, and these guys are cut about 10 cm less...

I don't think going 3 sizes up will work. Need a couple of days to think about them.

Thanks for the comparison pictures. I think the fit looks great but given your height and weight, I would've guessed that you would go for a size Small instead of XS. Theres definitely people that are under 171cm and 68kg and you seem to be average size/build. I think this has helped me pull the trigger on the P15's. Thank you!

I might have gone for a Small for the P31A, since they might feel a bit cropped for some people, but since these P15 are a bit longer (outseam 97 vs 94cm) I had no doubt on a XS. Waist size and belt is not really an issue, but mind that going up one size would result in a bit of extra bagginess on thighs and crotch.

Jackets i definitely wear S for Acronym or even M for some other brands (Stone Island ex.).

In any case, do not think that they fit completely different, because as you can see above they don't. Just find your correct size.

  5. P15 VS P31A - XS - I'm 171 cm and 68kg

I can't see much of a difference imho.

    P15 vs P31A.JPG

And one on top of the other... P15 (under) has a slightly larger leg from the knee down and 4-5cm more in total length.

I agree with this part, but I could've sworn that Michaela was the sole single designer moving forward for SISP as of SS23, hence why I found SS23 to my liking, and my confusion that the entire brand as a whole seems to have vanished without a trace.

You mean Johanna F. Schneider I guess...

I think she still head designer at SI, they just decided to drop SISP... Don't forget that in the meanwhile they got acquired by Moncler, maybe the new owner pushed for some changes or just the whole came to an end after the SISP-ACR split.

At the same time her leaving ACR studio marked a huge difference in the acronym design and it was huge loss for ACR imho.

  7. It s from Czech Republic operated by UPS usually. Price is pretty high, but I guess it s because it comes with free return.

The delivery slowness however it s unexplainable. They can do better on this side, for sure.

Errolson really seems to not care about sizes below medium tbh. just subtracting a few cm in all dimensions must not be enough - maybe certain parts of the pant need more taken off in one area than another (I’m not sure, it just seems like sizing problems always affect the smaller sizes) yea the “size for length” advice is common knowledge at this point but aside from p10s none of the pants really seem suitable for skinnier people and none of them seem to work well for smaller/shorter people. speaking from personal experience

After a while I started to think that he's basically making small sizes with 45-50 cm waist so he can still say he wears an S size...

Ciao everyone, I’m looking to wash a Stone Island x Nike Windrunner AW jacket. On the label it states to use ‘neutral detergent’ which I haven’t done before. Please can you advise a certain brand or share what you use?

    Grazie.

Nikwax tech wash. You can get it on amazon easily.

  10. P46, they look good on you (perfect match with the jacket)...

P23, they look a bit strange on the waist, but I can't say if you pulled the strings in wrong way or it's because they are actually too roomy. As you said sizing down doesn't really seem an option... they'll be too short.

where did you see the strings at the hem? I looked at the photo - they are not there.

My bad. I mixed up with P54.

Still I'm not really sure that I want to spend 1000 $ on a pair of pants and then add more cash to get a chance at a tailor for better fitting...

  12. 22 minutes ago, Slow86 said:

I can't understand, but what is the problem with shortening them at the tailor? My height is 178 cm and weight is 78 kg. I bought them a size S. If they seem too long to me, then I'll just shorten them by a couple of centimeters. I love the DS material and these pants are a great option for summer, as they have holes for ventilation.

It s a mess to shorten them since the hem has strings so either you lose the feature or you try to save the original hem and stitch it where you cut the leg that honestly is a crappy solution for a pair of 1000$ trousers.

  13. About the screen printed NG4's...

They look cheap as hell to be honest, and I don't find the type of research and functionality they're promoting in a lot of new stuff.

In this case if they wanted to do something well done, they could have done the pattern with actual knit through ByBorre or similar...
