Just a little update on my end since I seem to be one of the few still purchasing SP pieces.

I want to give a particular mention of the Bi-Stretch R-Nylon pieces that came out this past FW season. It's essentially Schoeller Dryskin, except it feels...better? The handfeel is nearly identical (7% EL/93% PA vs. Schoeller's 9% EL/91% PA), yet it's slightly thicker and sturdier due to being less elastic.

Anyways, I ended up buying 2 pairs of the same wide-legged pant on sale (~$300/pair) and I wear them 5-6 days/week. Insane pair of trousers.

Yeah -- I, unfortunately, bit the bullet and bought an NG4-PS from the FW2122 season without even remotely considering that fakes already existed. It's currently in transit to me and I've asked the seller for a receipt of purchase but I guess we'll see what happens here...so far packaging and everything looks legitimate. Just weirded out that the seller had a "few" in the Black/Silver colorway at prices slightly below normal resell (give or take $20-30 USD)

Any possibility to figure out the tell-tale signs of a fake vs. real? Based on the Taobao posts I've seen there is a distinct shimmer to the fakes that is not on real Polartec but if anyone has any more details I'd love to hear them. 

Are there fake NG4's flying around? My recent purchase got me worried now after seeing this post lmao.

I feel like SISP gets a rep for being techwear more than it really is as well. I've always been more into the street side of fashion and thought Tech was a little too movie-esque Sci-Fi for me, but that SISP offered a medium between street cozy with a more updated techy twist. 

But I also feel like in the past year E has moved away from having full hands on SISP and has let the ACR team as a whole handle it. I'm sure he's still part of the design team but it doesn't feel like he's doing as much as he used to -- which might also play into the fact that SISP looks a lot less like ACR than it did pre-2018. Just my thoughts though.
