Length was fine. Main thing for me was the chest was a little roomy with just a t-shirt. I could see how if I layered and wore it with a liner (jacket is zip-in compatible) that it would fit much better, but the weather where I live isn't conducive to that, so I see myself not wearing another layer with the jacket for the majority of my use cases
