Check the stitching, that's the obvious detail. Whole pattern is different really other than the split hem and overall shape.

Thanks, the overrall shape, how similar the pattern is at the armpit, side splits and how similar they looked I wanted to know if there were more differences.

As a follow up question, what type of fabric is br? I understand its a cotton cashmere blend of some sort, but how does it compare to lets say DS? The s19 is only available in br if I wanna get my size, but I also don't want to make the wrong choice in material.

  2. Could someone tell me the difference between the s19 and the s15, they look almost identical, and I haven't been able to quite figure out how they differ.

Agreed. Have washed my P24S-DS several times now and they look fresh as a daisy. Same goes for my Stotz pair (and P9-S, and for that matter P16-CH and P17-CH) and while there is a tiny but of fading it's nothing I wouldn't expect given the relative ages of each pair.

Idk about anyone else but if you fly a lot, after spending a couple of days sat in planes and at airports, a wash is usually in order.

My main concern was since I usually use the bus/metro/train 5 days a week,  it might not be the most sanitary to go without washing them relatively often. Regular clothes last years even when washed regularly, so why wouldn't something that's made of superior materials and made better over all. Any fit issues that my pair seemed to have at first went away within the first day of wear.

Q1 - do they smell unpleasant?

    Q2 - are they dirty?

Q3 - has the functionality (e.g DWR) stopped working?

If the answers are no, you don't need to wash them.  If an answer is yes, apply the least possible damaging technique to remedy. Least being a spot clean with a towel and warm water, worst being a full machine wash.

Quite literally the worst thing you can do to shorten the life of your clothes is to wash them regularly. Somehow people got into the mindset that they should wash their clothes all the time, or that their clothes are dirty if they no longer smell of some kind of citrus flavoured washing detergent, which is kind of crazy really. When you're buying materials that are dirt resistant, odour resistant, etc, there's very little need to wash them with any regularity at all, they'll look after themselves.

Thanks. I guess I knew you didn't have to wash them regularly. But I was under the assumption that the technical properties would last about 50 washes. So at this rate they should at least last 6 years? I won't wash them as often knowing what I know now, since I do of course want them to last as long as possible.

  5. I've been wearing them non stop since I got them when they dropped, so I thought it might be a good idea to wash them. I'm not too sure how often they're supposed to be washed. 1.5 months just seemed like a long time to not wash something, especially since I'm going by public transport. How often would you suggest I wash them then?

  6. I washed my P10TS-DS for the first time yesterday, machine wash, 30 degrees, double rinse with grangers. Didn't tumble dry, just let them dry on a flat surface.

It feels like all the stacks are gone, or at least the way the used to stack is gone, will they eventually naturally start to crease at the right places again?

the fidlock on the shoes just inspire idiots to put cobra buckles on sock darts or spanish buckles on LF-1s :/

    WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!

Time to mod some sock racers with two cobra buckles on each foot.

  8. got the P10TS-DS in today, everything is great about them, except I'm not too convinced on the actual tec sys aspect of it (looks or function).

First of all not a huge fan of how the ts isn't stitched all the way down, I think they'd look cleaner if the ends were stitched down. Second of all, how much do you guys use tec sys on pants? I would Imagine the regular pockets, + any on my jacket would be way enough already, and instead of using individual mods I think I'd prefer to just use a bag.

at this point I would very much like to know if any other P10 variants would release in the second drop, or if any P10's drop would it be the TS in a dif material?

Cuz if regular P10's release in the second drop, and I keep these I might be slightly annoyed.
My two options now are to either return these within 2 weeks and then in a month I might be able to cop either a different P10, or nothing at all. Or to keep these, and possibly be disappointed if regular P10's drop.

Has anyone ordered from the main site and have yet to receive a shipping email? A little worried it might be cancelled considering the prices popping up on grailed

I thought I didn't receive one either but it was in my junk mail for some reason, you might wanna check there. If you've already checked then just disregard this.

  10. WTT:

    P10TS-DS size M, for P10-CH size M in black + cash.

I'm quite sure I would prefer CH to DS, and don't necessarily have all that many uses for the tec sys.

European traders preferred and the item condition should be 9/10 with minimal wear at the very least.

    Offers are welcome as well.

    WTB:

3A-1 or 3A-3TS for less than grailed prices.

  11. Is it just the product shots they used for the P10TS-DS or does the DS fabric not stack around the knee at all? It seems all the stacking is at the shins/ankles. Comparing photos of the CH and S variants the DS looks quite a bit worse silhouette wise. I'm aware Stots and CH are more stiff than DS, but is the effect really that drastic in real life?

Price points reflect their market position. The cost of P10s are most people's pants budget for a lifetime the whole thing is outrageous.

I was prepared to pay my lifetimes pants budget but now I have to throw in the equivalent of my lifetimes sock budget as well? :P

Well, more complaining wont do me any good, and if they don't release any other p10's I migh just  be an impatient cunt and cop them anyway. If I really dislike them there's always the possibility to return them.

There's always more to the price than cost of materials.  People don't work for free :P

Most definitely, its just that I can't really see where all that money went in this case. I've been able to get why most of ACR's stuff is expensive, like their jackets, pants etc. But when you take a pair of pants and strap some webbing on the sides and multiply the price by 1.5 (or just in general taking an existing item, adding something relatively small, and then charging a a hefty price for that small addition)It just seems a little outrageous. I could be dead wrong tho and working with tec sys might require a lot of time or effort to get it done right.

  14. 3 minutes ago, Kamikaze said:

    that webbing isn't cheap! :D

It may not be cheap but why does it add 300 to the price? Its basically adding half the price of p10's for a small amount of tec sys. Just seems like a shitty deal to me.

I've been done in by bad intel. Thanks!

All I'm aware of is that the belt loops on some of the older season ones are smaller, so certain belts don't work with them.

Hotoveli removed the early link for P10TS-DS, but retail was listed as 970 USD.

Thanks, and yeah that's the price point I was expecting. I was prepared to pay 600~ for p10's and that's already an astronomical price for a pair of pants (for me at least), so adding that extra 350 usd for the tec sys that I'm pretty sure I would never use, I'm gonna have to pass, especially since it's DS and not CH.

still hoping for regular old p10's to drop. Unless the ones that have been revealed are the only products releasing.

  17. Damn, was really hoping for regular p10's to drop, especially the CH version. the p10ts-ds sounds neat but it the p10a's are anything to go by, they're gonna be double the price of the regular ones.

Also anyone know if this is just a single drop? or if it's gonna be divided into 2 like some previous seasons?

The UEG ones look nice, wish they had side splits but they look the best out of the bunch imo. The 3d t shirt from Y-3 looks really interesting, but it might be a little too far out for my tastes as of right now. Enfin leve has an interesting style, but its not really for me for the most part. Thanks for the help!

edit: Found a GG tank in my size.

Brandblack Tech T-shirt or John Elliott Sashiko Cropped T. Make sure you know your size with Brandblack, they don't do returns.

Thanks! I do have a few issues with these tho, they're in the US so import charges are gonna be a pain (my fault for not specifying my region), and I'm not sure if they are long enough. I'd like the shirt to show from under a acr jacket, similarly to the guerrilla group tanks. Might just have to wait until they restock.

  20. Are there any Techwear style T shirts, similar (elongated T + similar side splits)  to the Guerrilla group 16F-ES-TK02 tank, or the Acronym S15-DS. Don't feel like dropping 500 on a shirt (I get that its probably nice quality but I don't think its worth it to me atm) , and I'd much prefer a normal T shirt to a tank top. Thanks in advance!

any word on when that Y-3 Noci Low is getting released?

Y-3 has been releasing their spring collections pretty steadily, it could drop in a month, but it could also drop in 3 (possibly even longer, Im just estimating from the time between the first and second drops).

  22. Screen-Shot-2016-07-01-at-11.04.53-1-680

Y-3 Noci Low. Another shoe from the Y-3 SS/17 collection. If you don't know yet the drops are gonna be divided into different visions of the future, of which "Future Perfect" has been released. And the other "futures" or drops will release later.

This is a really unique silhuette, and it fits the techwear vibe really well imo. Most likely gonna cop these bad boys.
