  1. Warehouse (new) 1001xx  sz. 32

My first pair of Warehouse denim and it's pretty much exactly what I had in mind. A lot of the character comes form the fabric itself, rather than flashy pocket stitching and other obnoxious details. It's a nice lighter weight than what I'm used to and I think that's what gives the denim such a unique hand feel, it's the looser weave that lets these crinkles and cracks come out. Good stuff.

Takes a trained eye to be able to spot these in public and I always appreciate that. So easy to wear and these will get a lot of it.

Have to say thanks to cyan for letting these go at such a great price!

You are welcome. Great to see they get actual wearing from somebody instead of sitting in my closet.

  2. What's the point of making a slim fit with a cinch back and a low rise? And those bright orange stitchings are really some eyesore.

On the other hand, let's not fool ourselves with all this secret/mystic feeling about ONI. After all, it's all publicity stunts to make it a cool brand that makes you think you are buying something in limited supply. Do you really think an old man who operates an aged loom alone somewhere in Japan is able to pump out so many different cuts using at least 4 different fabrics ever since ONI rises to the fame on reddit? And all of sudden its products are on display by so many Rakuten sellers and by Denimio (whom I'd say has since double-downed on ONI products).

ONI was a niche brand with some niche products and minuscule demand, which simply did not justify scaling up production and sales. Now, as Geeman said, it is in the limelight, and naturally it scales up production and sales to maximize the profit while it still can. There is nothing wrong with that, and some people may genuinely like ONI's products. But if Ciano Farmer indeed managed to source the secret denim, then I'd suspect that ONI doesn't even loom its own fabric and let's count down the days when Gustin get hold of some yards!

  3. I'm really tempted to buy the 36 from The Bureau Belfast given the price, but I really don't need more jeans.

Could you post measurements of your 710s that have been worn b_F? That would give me a good idea on how they stretched.

Post wash measurements look good considering the denim stretches a good bit.

The price at the bureau is only slightly below Japanese retail, if you don't need a pair right now I'd wait a bit longer

  4. I ended up buying TTS from Naoki San at PSA based on his recommendation. It measures similar to my LVC 66. Ordered w31, 32 inseam to hopefully get 29-30 inseam post wash

You will get 29-30 inseam post wash if you bought unwashed with marked inseam 32. Resolute 710 is styled with shorter inseams.
