My size 33 SD-103s have a 10" rise and a 12.5" thigh. They have had many washes and a few dries, but haven't been washed in a couple weeks.

That's a great deal. Here's what they will look like in a year.

Spending some of my winter break in Southern California with the GF. Christmas eve sunset and Christmas morning in San Diego.

Took a day trip to visit the GF's sister at UCLA, wore my 1101s.

Ended the visit with some ice cream.

Well that sure makes the second picture feel dirty.

Looking good, Nemo. My weight has fluctuated a lot since I bought mine, but I've never had much issue with the waist. Occasionally tight after a wash but it always stretches.

The 15oz fabric is great. I'm glad you picked up a pair, I'm sure you will enjoy them.

Hiking in northern California. One part of the trail followed the old US HWY 101. This section was decommissioned in 1964. Excuse my dumb smile.

Really enjoying these 1101s, they are very different from my SDAs. The FCs are soft, stretchy and irregular while the SDAs are very tough, smooth and even. My SDAs now feel like armor compared to the FCs. Looking forward to watching them evolve.

I think the D1657 was the original run, meant as a limited edition, that they recently decided to incorporate into their classic lineup, making it a standard model and creating the SD-30X series.

Agreed. Simply been playing with my inseam/cuff, trying out different styles. I think the small cuff is my favorite so far.

It seems like my presoak measurements are closer to a 32 on the BiG website. Why can't the jeans I buy match the sizing guide? If they did they would fit perfect. So frustrating.

I was afraid that was going to be the response. Sizing sucks, I was so confident in my purchase. I guess I'll just wear my SDAs and attempt to sell my ill-fitting jeans as I've already more than expended my budget for the year.

Waist is too big already. Guess I probably should have gone I with a 30 but I think the fit through the leg would be too slim for my liking. I'm gonna wear them for a week or two and see how I feel.
