By proof of shipping do you mean like a receipt from the post office and tracking details? I just sold some big ticket items and I think I took the right precautions (tracking, signature on delivery). Still dont want to get fucked for 1k worth though

It's taking the place of where freedom used to be so I'd be kind of shocked if they didn't have their usual staple of homewares, stationery, travel accessories etc.
2015 is a good time to be a student in Sydney with cheap options for stuff like qlo and muji around - it's a shame it wasn't around 7 years ago when I had little money.
Oh, another burger joint has joined Sydney's bandwagon (http://www.broadsheet.com.au/sydney/food-and-drink/article/five-points-burgers)
I tried it and found it decent but not life changing like a lot of reviewers and instagramers are saying. I'm getting burger fatigue from this haze of brioche buns and pickles with beef that is dominating the city right now.

Just saw Avengers today and I would liken it to being in a kitchen listening to hyperactive kids hit metal pans together until I went deaf. Barely a minute went by without an explosion, concrete shattering, etc. Waste of my time and my senses are none the better for it

So the firm I work with has offered me a position in melbourne that would require me to move there in the next couple of months.
I'm heading down in a couple of weeks to start checking out some suburbs/apartment viewings and wanted to see if people had recommendations or advice on some of the inner city suburbs. I'm familiar with places like Port Melb, Albert Park, Prahan and Abbotsford from friends who live there but if there are some suburbs that you'd recommend as enjoyable and liveable I'd love to hear them.

Thanks mayne. As much as I like it I need another lite spring/summer jacket like I need a hole in my head.

Has anyone handled the Nemen J43-K and can comment on its thickness/ how substantial the fabric is? The reason I ask is that the features and treatment interest me but I don't know how well it will hold up as an outerwear piece in Australian winter (10 degrees celcius at the worst that kind of thing)

Not if you like wandering. Last time I went I was there for 2 weeks and that was fine despite it being my 4th visit. Did you have things in mind for what you wanted to do?

What're people's recommendations for a day moisturizer for combination/oily skin with at least moderate sun protection (so hopefully greater than spf15) - or is it just better off getting a sunscreen as well?
yeah im wondering the same thing, it seem like every moisturizer with sunscreen is shitty. currently using one without
So I used a few different things depending on what is at hand. If I'm out for a short while I'll throw on some Aesop hydrating cream which has spf 15 something. Sometimes I'll want to use a cc cream and the Peter Thomas Roth one is by far the best I've used - that's spf 30.
But for heavier stuff what i've picked up (from my other half who is a makeup artist/skincare specialist) is find 2 products which work for you and mix them. So I'll go with a Josie Maran argan oil/suncreen mix or a normal hydrating cream mix with sunscreen. The thickness and greasiness of the scunreen is important if you're going to mix it with stuff which is why I use a light one (Cancer Council Everyday sunscreen - spf 30).
Peter Thomas Roth does some normal day moisturisers with spf 30 in it, which if you want to match them to combination/ oily skin, just mix them in the palm of your hand with some argan oil. I've got too much by the way of other products to get through before I'd consider trying his other range but I'm told it works well.
