  1. Just picked up a pair of the 1949hxx sz 33 warehouse cut. Sadly they dont work for me. Basically, a 1947 cut warehouse banner denim with some hinoya details. Shrunk: tub with hot water and dryer. Shrink is out. Looking to sell. $200us

  2. Guess, I'm not meant to have nice things. The TCB 50'S just dont work for me. They are skin tight with some room in the waist. Have a size 32 hemmed to 32 in one wash from inoue.

    In the us.

    On marketplace too.

  3. I snagged a pair of 32 this morning.  Hopefully they get here quickly.

These measurements frigthen me a tad as I would prefer a larger thigh, but it sounds like these will stretch and give.

@radfad2000 Here are measurements from my size 32 50's (washed and worn for about 6 months so this would be fully stretched out):

    Waist: 16"

    FR: 11.5"

    BR: 16"

    Thigh: 12"

    Opening: 8.5"

Hope that helps. I def recommend ordering TTS.

  4. Any one have some post-soak and stretch measurements of 50's cut in either a 32 or 33.  Went way back and read the entire threat.  based on nycsurfer530 measurements on his 31 these might be what I am looking for.  I sent Inoue a DM on instagram and got sent denimo size chart which is helpful, the redcast heritage size chart but im wondering what I can expect with some wear based off what I have seen on this forum. I know denimo is one-wash and redcast is raw, just wondering what the middle ground is.

Sorta fell in love with this denim after doing my research. And, yes, I know I am being overly obsessive but this is the place for that to come out, right?

    ps

my goal is to find a high rise pair with a 32 inch waist 12 in FR, 16 BR and a 12.75-13in thigh.

    Thanks

  5. Thanks for the input. I would love a pair of the TCB or Warehouse, just not sure the rise will be high enough for me.  After looking intently, I saw a pair of 32 TCB50 with a FR/BR of 11in/15in, which wont work for me. Not sure how accurate they are.   I would love a pair of sugar canes, just not sure the thigh would work for me at the waist size I prefer.  I wish more folks made a true '55 cut(my personal favorite).

Should, I think about branching out and seeking a different earlier cut? Or, are their other makers with high rises that I am not aware of.

  6. Looking for a pair of high rise denim.  Love my Iron Heart 1955 but I want something lighter for the summer.  Roy's R01 would be perfect.  Tried the 888 OD 14oz but they are too much of a slim fit even with a waist that is a tad bit big.  Considering Warehouse(dont know too much about them and its hard to hunt down a size chart), LVC '55 cut.  I really just wanted to ask where else I can find a high rise denim with a thigh that will fit me.  Seeking a true waist in the 33-34 range after stretch with a thigh that is at least 12.7.   Any help would be great.

  7. How much shrink is there within these flannels?  I guess I am asking because I am a solid medium in most if not all slim fitting shirts, however after measuring my shirts the measurements are fairly similiar(expect for my heavyweight flannel from vermont flannel which fits perfect but according measurements is like 8cm bigger in the shoulders and chest(what I assume is from the heavy flannel). Just trying to figure out which size would fit best and after seeing Geemans comment about going with a 3 and wearing mediums I am not not quite sure.

    Cucoo,
Bear in that the FW 13/14 shirts had a different sizing from this season (15/16)and last 14/15. The sizes were quite a small fit when Rivet and Hide got their first batch in FW 13/14. Since then the cut/sizing has been slightly bigger per model (2,3,4 etc) and fits more correctly in my opinion.
My 13/14 shirt is a size 3 and is quite slim fitting.
This season and last I could happily wear a size 2 for a fitted look and a 3 for layering underneath.
I also feel that there's a reasonable amount of shrink to be had if needed from these. They are Sanforized but a hot wash will reduce them if needed.
Go by Rivet and Hides sizing. It's accurate.
A size 2 should fit you well from what I can tell.
    (For ref: I'm 6', 80kg with 40" chest)

  9. Nope. Still haven't changed status from being in Manila since 8am on the 8th.

I did email Kevin at signet (not that I'm impatient or anything :-) ) but he didn't have a scooby either. He just said that ems take their time to update the progress status.

Im in the US.  I had the same message. Finally, shipped out today. Hoping for delivery tomorrow.

  10. I don't. At all.

The original was an equal and well balanced image of all the contributing parties.

The update gives the impression that the signet store have come across a dodgy batch of full count jeans and tried to hide the fact by putting a wacking great ink stamp of their shop over the patch.

    Not best pleased with this.

Ps MF & IH - with an eagle on top of those hammers....?!

The lack of updates makes one wonder if this statement has any merit.  At this time, without ANY updates or denim porn other than a vague message about shipping updates which turned out to be completely false.

I am also not to happy with the swastika similarities.

  11. Hey guys, I just picked up a Sugar Cane Type III and thought I'd share some photos. I'm pretty stoked on this — it was a great value, fantastic denim for the money. It's only had about 2-3 days of wear. No soak, but it's a one-wash.

  13. I wanna jump in!!!

I am new here and ready to dive into some unsanforized denim.  I want the 1101 cut. I understand the waist should stretch out back to the pre-wash size.  What about the thighs and legs. I want some top block room with a taper.    Anyone have some sizing advice for me.

  14. @kiya

Hopefully, you keep us updated. Writing papers on disaster relief is only tolerable when researching new denims...if you come across of measurements and a time-table please share if you can.  I hope, I can wait for these and the fit works.

  15. You've definitely got my attention.

    NO S*$T!!!!!!

Wondering if I can wait. I wonder what the fit will be like, I would prefer a high rise with a taper something like Left Field. But that's just me and my dream.

Details and denim are glorious. I hope the denim is similar or the same.

  16. I'd say they run one size bigger than most of the other jeans we sell, so sizing down one would be good for these jeans.  Here's the size chart if you need it: http://www.selfedge.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=987&search=727

Not sure if the 727 work on my body, athletic with a slim waist. I would have to size up and go with a 32 to get a decent fit for my thighs and I prefer a decent rise for some breathing room.

Love the denim, and everyone on here seems to rave about the denim.  Anychance you could order up some 737 or 767 for me.

  17. The waist sizing on their jeans is a bit wonky with the exception of the 727 jean.  Many of the models the waist is huge compared to the rest of the jean, but that isn't as true with the 727.

Kiya if thats the case, how do you recommend sizing?

  18. Loving Stevenson Co.  I was wonder how to size for these.  I was leaning towards the 767, but cant find them anywhere in my size, so I think the 737 will be calling my name.  Should I size for shrink or stick to the raw measurements and anticipate a stretch back to the original measurements?
