Wow I would never think of wearing jeans to a wedding let alone my own wedding. But this guy pulse it off. Super nice contrast with the classic wedding dress. Hehe crazy stuff. Awesome pants, beautiful wife!
Part II:
As promised, here are the pics of my wedding day (is this considered "home-improvement"? ). I blurred out the faces of some of the guests, since I wasn´t sure whether they would like to be published.
The whole day was a blast – we got married in Castle Wilhelmshöhe, which is one of the main attractions in my hometown of Kassel. Since both my wife and me are agnostic, we decided not to be married in a chapel.
The whole celebration was kept rather small, we only invited close friends and relatives. After the ceremony, our guests surprised us with white doves and a ride in this awesome car, a 50-year-old Morris Minor 1000.
I cannot say much more than that I am so glad that I married this wonderful woman… This truly was the best decision I have made in my life.

Last oktober I started on a pair of Diesel Tepphar Turbo Denim. They said they would fade faster and I liked the fit so I picked up a pair. I posted a thread on RAWR form day one. You can view it there if you are a freak and want to see the progress day-to-day. I also made a
of the progress in iMovie for the freaks with less timeI was wondering wether to wash them or not but decided I wanted 30 more wears before the first wash. However, the decision was made for me (not by me). A long story short: party, alcohol, testosterone, stupid friends, pool, embarrassment, cold bike ride home. So I washed them at 67 days of wear. Invented a great method of washing btw, will tell you if anyone is interested.
So here some pictures of the second to last day of wear before the wash, fit pic on the eventful evening and some post wash pics (contrast and fit). Tell me what you think:

Thanks! I still like the color/fadings but the fit is a bit to tight for me now so I only wear them occasionally to festivals/ concerts etc.
Maybe you should sell it to a lazy fuck like myself instead of hardly wear em ;-)

I own about 30 pairs, but I am not good at tossing my jeans in the bin especially if they are raw (selvedge) and i've worn them to shit. I keep them for the occasional wear.
How many of you guys wear jeans every day (if the weather provides for denim wear)?

They look to good to retire, still lots of wear in them. If you decide to retire them, put them in the retired denim gallery
These are my Nudie Grim Tim Orange Selvage. I've worn these jean on and off for 2,5 years, at this moment they are more or less retired. They had three washes and a lot of repairs. Hope you like them!

I am not buying Nudies anymore, for no apparent reason, but they were my first pair of RAW denim 10 years ago. Actually they were pretty much my first pair of jeans. Probably the only Dutchmen who didn't like/wear jeans, too working class for me. Lost a soccer bet to my raw-denim-wearing-buddies and the forfeit was that I had to wear these for 180 days straight without a wash. I thought they were crazy at the time; The Horror.
Not sure what the weight of these (Graycasts) were, but my god they were like cardboard and it took me 3 weeks before they became anything near comfortable. In the process though I learnt to love em. Never looked back. Got a whole load of raw denims now in every phase of the fading process. Looking back how I thought I realize that the outide world probably doesn't get what we get. The don't see the beauty, they probably thing: "that guy needs a new pair of jeans".

So do I get it correctly that these are your wedding jeans? You are actually the first one I ever heard of that marries in worn out jeans. You make all the denim heads here look like Chinofans ;-) #bow
Hope you give us an update on how they turned out post-wash, post-wedding

Hi guys!
So, there´s a little story to be told here: I promised myself that I would not wash my IH 634S until the day before my wedding, so that I can get married in clean jeans. Since the big day is going to be tomorrow, today, after what has been almost 15 months of daily wear and tear, I put them in the machine. Right now they´re outside drying… But here are the last pics before the wash:
Unfortunately, the lighting doesn´t give them nearly enough credit – they´re more faded than it seems on most of the pics.
Since I don´t think that I´ll have time today to take any postwash-pics once they´re dried, I´ll see to it that I will post them during the weekend – as well as some pics of my wedding…
Stay tuned!

Yeah I heard that they were pretty bad quality. Yet I have to say that the denim after the first wash seems really sturdy still. As this is just an experiment I am curious too. And I have to say that I am patient and seem to keep all my dry pair fairly log without rips or tears (never goat crotch rip (knock on wood). I like this pair thought. Will surely keep you posted.
Got some pics of your pair on how they evolved and how they ended up?
