These are insane!! Makes me want to pull out the 501s I gave up on...
Funny that I gave up on some 501's in recent years. Apparently I was better at this fading game when I was young and did not obsess about fading ;-)

Plaid G-star shirt and 501 STF. I found 6 old pair in my dad's attic last month. Forgot I had them. Will post the whole barn find on another thread.

When I was young I lived in Levi's 501 STF. Found a box filled with once dark indigo jeans that now are super faded but awesome imho. Feels like I just got 6 new pairs of jeans for free (while they off were already mine). They still fit like a glove and have many more years of wear in them. The denim is still super thick with only a few knees getting thin or near blowing out.

I am looking for a fitting Levi's sawtooth denim shirt in a good washing (yet classic). Like tis one. They seem nowhere to be found. Anyone a good store online to buy them?

I have an office job so I am not the fasted fader. I take my denim fading easy, but I think the results are quite good with my jeans (in my opinion). Here's my Diesel Tepphar denim that was marketed to have some enzyme to let it fade faster. Think total bullocks but the colour that comes out I like. Wonder what you think.
Now I have a few pairs in rotation. Nudie (pretty worn out), Diesel (well faded going into the fall of it's existence), APC (well into the process) and 501 STF (broken in). So i allow myself to get a new pair. Any advice on what to buy next? I am not one for the super heavy denim. I don't like how they fade (out).

Who here does double denim? I think it can look awesome, but there is such a slim line. I actually prefer similar colors than contrasting. What about you guys?
Who does it at work?

Here are the post light wash pics. Hard to take pictures to get the good color. I wanted the dark indigo to stay as dark as possible so I used a special denim detergent.

6 month update on my A.P.C. PS, they have proven to be great quality I think. But they have only started to fade recently. I have worn them quite often so was expecting a quicker progress, but they are finally giving in. I always take my time breaking them in so i know these will have years and years of wear in them like all my other raws.
Amazing to see how some of you have managed to make them look super sick. I am in for a fun ride with these.

Update on Diesel Tepphar Turbo denim, progress and fit. Haven't been counting the days but I think they must have had 110 days of wear approximately. They fade fast, the pictures don't really show the difference between the earlier pics, but it is significant. For one there is a hole starting on the pocket my wallet sits in. Trying to avoid a rip by wearing my wallet in the other pocket now.

Awesome pair! It takes me 5 years to get my pants like this. What do you do in them to have them look so great this quick?
Nudie Grim Tim Orange Selvage. Worn for 2,5 years, lot of washes and repair jobs. Hope you like it!

I gave my Diesel Tepphar Turbo's a second wash

I have been wearing two pairs of Nudies for about ten years. Only occasionally as you can imagine I do not wear them to work or weddings etc.

My Diesel Tepphar turbo denim at day 74, 7 days after the first wash. They seem to fade faster after the wash. They don't get much wear these days because of the hot weather and the fact that I am trying to break in my new A.P.C. Petite Standards

Do I need to soak my APC petite standard. Bought these in an impulse. Never wondered if they were sanforized or not. The fit is perfect after a week of wear, but wondering if I need to shrink them before abusing them?

@mf051404 awesome pair. Very motivating to put mine back in rotation

I find these really hard to fade. Haven't worn them for that reason for ages. How the hell do you guys get these to look so cool?
