And another true vintage type3 (unfortunately not my size, 2 sizes bigger), which I thought was one of the Grateful Dead jackets (because of the terrapin turtle embroidery) but no one knows for sure. Tracey Panek of Levi's said it might be from the 70's but looking at the details I thought it is a 67

I find this odd, using a patch meant for pants on a jacket. Why? Lack of supplies?

Red Wing 875 reconditioned and resoled by my local cobbler
Used generic crepe, but reinforced it with airplane tire rubber

Here's mine that's why I asked, same waist and length size
Texture is quite irregular, quite different from the LVCs I have (and seems to be thicker/heavier)

I have this same exact one, is this legit or fake? http://item.rakuten.co.jp/vectorpremium/076-201403020662/
The photo is from Rakuten...

I see...yes I saw that 1987 copyright on one of the labels...if I couldn't get much from these I might just wear them because they are my exact size...they are 6 inches longer than my usual inseam length though but I'm thinking about cuffing them for a change

So maybe post 74 but pre 78 (because of the capital E)?

This photo represents the actual color by the way, they are heavier than modern 501s, and the best thing is they are in pristine condition, I think these are deadstock not LVC...anyone knows how much they can sell for?

Can someone ID these for me please, based on Googling they seem to be from 1967-68, could someone confirm and how much these are worth

It is, the "chains" could only be seen on the inner side (where it touches my arm), similar to a jeans's hem. Made use of ordinary polyester thread

That doesn't look like a chainstitch but nice. What kind of thread did you use?

It is

For the love of denim, made my own watch strap from an LVC cutoff. Not perfect stitching, but this was done by hand. Opted for a chainstitch rather than a backstitch for durability (NOT roping haha). Nevermind the watch itself, nothing fancy

@Cucoo I like the sleeves, not too tight but not too loose either, just right for me. Does it let the armpits "breathe", not tight? I hate jackets that "choke" around the armpits But what I like most about it is the color. I think it will match with any jeans (old or new), it won't give a monotonous look even with new denim because of the tone/shade. A monotone denim tux is quite difficult to pull off ;-)

Just an AEO (American Eagle Outfitters) boots similar to the Clarks Bushacre, one of the low-end brands?
But I like the construction, fit and comfort (despite having a very hard sole made of synthetic rubber).
It is canvass lined
Pretty decent leather material
It has 3-pair eyelets (most desert boots have two pairs) and the metal eyelets can only be seen from the inside
I prefer this kind of sole as opposed to the crepe sole...
I hope these age well

Maybe starch and iron from the weft side (inside)? Ironing from the outside will I think catalyze the fading of the unwanted crease because heat will then break the color, right?

Great find! $$$

Care to post some fitpics please? Would like to see how they differ from the standard line.

Epic roping on my newly-hemmed Bobson Cinch pants (Made In Japan). The hem is fully twisted and not just diagonally creased.
