Ordering a 47 from Konaka-San, but wanted to see how much I should ask him to hem it for me, so that the post-soak inseam length would be 75 cm ? From the size chart he sent me, the initial inseam would be 88 cm (for size 35). Many thanks!!

I used to own a bunch of McCoy's jackets, M65, N-1, Tankers, Field Sports Jacket, A2, Denim Jacket, Pea Coat, 37J1B Flight Jacket....but I live in Los Angeles, so only a few of these get actual wear.

Sold off a bunch and i'm just happy now with the Pea Coat, M-65, and Denim Jacket. Kinda regretting selling the N-1 though, since now my work requires spending a couple winter months each year in New England...

Out of these, the M-65 would be the one i would want to keep forever, due to its versatility.

Overall good condition, worn regularly, does have signs of wear, but no major flaws. Zippers work flawlessly. The patch on the right shoe is missing from the previous owner, but had them checked and verified to be authentic by the Rick Owens store.

Only sign of wear is minimal heel drag which I have covered up with 4 layers of shoe goo (rubber cement for shoe repair/heel reinforcement for those who don't know), extends the durability but collects dust easily. Not noticeable at all while wearing.

Leather recently conditioned by professional service.

Was fortunate to be in the area while SELA had its FH exhibition. Great range of products, and to be able to actually touch and try on first hand...well, that was quite the experience. Definitely had me hooked to the brand. Always wanted to get into FH, but being me i just had to actually handle the items firsthand before dropping cash on purchases. Hard to imagine bad service in Japan. i don't go there often, maybe 4-5 times a year, more if business is busy. i am by no means fluent in Japanese but rarely have i received bad service - they take pride in whatever profession they are in - be it street cleaning to suit tailoring (by the way, if you ever have the time and willpower, please please have a bespoke suit made in Japan, the service and attention to details is off the charts!). That said, I did receive bad attitude at a select shop one time, and had my Japanese friend call the manager up to complain - you wouldn't believe the effort he made to make up for it.
