  1. Straying away from photos that guide us to somewhere or someone we hope to be.

I think words can do the same too.

I was watching 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' and Sean Penn's character was relating to the protagonist

about a snow leopard and its elusiveness and said, "Beautiful things don't ask for attention".

It seemed like something Yohji would have said.

I think the appeal of certain images is instantaneous, and can be added to the 'inspiration' bank for some of us, so to speak. these images can be gathered together to form a kind of singular image of inspiration, but ye, I think you're right regarding quotes, and that is a brilliant example.

Kensington pool hall, '84. Looks like it coulda been yest.

  2. I laugh more that you individually spaced the tassels for a picture. In more relevant news selfxexplanatory brings consistent heat to this thread, thank you.

hey, I take pride in the minuscule deets, shoot me.

  3. ^ you don't need a journalism degree to do journalism.

    sincerely, a journalism student

it helps though, does it not? tell me more journo student?

aside from this, with every day that goes by, I see certain restraints in journalism, restraints that don't attract me. maybe I could go down the design route, I just don't know.

mind is well and truly open.

  4. nothing wrong w/ being 18. its only wrong if you think youre the shit,

apologies if it came across as though I think im the shit. As I have mentioned, my wardrobe is looking thin, and is like mid-reconstruction. got rid of a lot of items and slowly getting there.

But when someone's an ass, I'll let 'em know.

  5. Hahahahahahahaha.

    oh jeez.

    nice try though.

In all seriousness, isn't that the guy that you posted up and said that he'd grad'd from st martins.

don't constantly attempt to put up a cool and clever facade when you quite clearly aren't intelligent enough to properly and cohesively use the english language.

consider this a lesson learned you great big arse.

  6. schad, honestly bud, you do sound about 18. every time you reply, I have some quite concise mental imagery of you telling your 'mom' to stop watching you post on sufu when in the near vicinity. tampon? dudette? whoa schad, you've really hurt my feelings, I want to punch my iphone so bad right now.

Er, yes. Yes you are wrong. I don't wear 'alot of adidas apparel'. lounge hoodies ye?

I didn't 'koppety kop' at retail. I wouldn't fork out £195 for them to be brutally honest. I've explained why I bought them. Is the fabric hanging down a tad annoying? yes. Is the practicality box the first to be ticked pre-purchase? fuck no. ain't a specifically aimed dig at you, just feel like I have to reiterate why I got them numerous times.

and to be fair, the purchases I have put up on here have, in my eyes, been fine (even though my wardrobe is mid-rejuvenation). just you.. you remind me of one of them rotten farts that just willllllll nottttttt goooo.

head to toe adi fits? fb? look harder schaddy baby, look harder.

  7. You don't know me, or anything about me (other than what you're telling yourself you 'think' you know). Judging who I am off of clothes I may or may not wear, parallels and almost epitomises your intellect. shit you can't even be arsed to put an 'o' and a 'u' to successfully complete the word yourself, you utterly stupid cunt.

if you do own some y-3's, that's fantastic. But I could confidently bet my last quid on the fact that it makes up for your lack of apparent intelligence. probaaaaaaably amongst other things.

    scoot.

  8. the superpositions are pretty meh

i'd be wary of the tassels getting caught in an escalator.. could be real nasty

The quality of the toe leather is fairly decent to be honest. I just wanted a sneaker that is a tad more versatile than other options, but not con's.. everyone is wearing con's. + had to be black and white. Spotted them and thought 'bingo'.

And ye, didn't actually think of escalators, I'll bear that in mind.

  9. who cares?  i knew graduates from yale and mit who were homeless.

just cause someone grads from a prestigious uni doesn't guarantee success.

there are many grads from st. martins and  twerp royal acad of fine arts who don't dress in ways that this board approves of.

    cooooool.

maybe there ain't such a correlation between graduating from a respectable uni / college and dressing atleast 'well'.
