How bad does the knee hurt? After I'm done with my lower leg (two weeks), I'll work my way up. And the knees scare the shit out of me.
It wasn't necessarily the knee itself which hurt me, it was around the knee and behind it where I felt it most. None of it feels good though

Hello,
Selling my lightly used Alden 403 size 8 E. Purchased brand new from J.Gilbert here in downtown Seattle.
I have worn these about 4-7 times and am selling because I am worried once the leather stretches out they will become too large for my liking.
Lightly worn but a couple scratches from riding my bike, all detailed in the pictures.
$350 shipped USA +$20 for international.
Paypal only, final sale.
Thanks for looking!

@cander49 Not sure if it's what you are looking for but Danner makes good hiking boots for women. Not really that kind of style ^^ but we live in the pacific NW and camp/hike a lot and danner seems to be the best we have found for our use.

The WG actually has more room in the top block than the SG. WG cut is a straight leg until the knee where it tapers into the clean leg opening, Skinny guy is basically a slim straight. The WG is a higher rise than the SG. Some people actually consider the WG a low rise but it's a mid-rise. Each model varies so it's best to compare measurements for each style.
People who wear repro cuts tend to find the rise small, cause most that stuff is like 12" high, It's too high for my liking but i'm also about 5ft8 150lbs so I don't have a ton of junk in the trunk.

I don't like the new details. So far the selvage listing is different. The patches went from leather to suede. I think I even saw the rope filled belt loops are gone, but I'm not too sure about that. Tabs are also missing, but this might have to do with legal stuff. Nah... I'll stick with Vintage Label.
Filled belt loops are still there, no tab not due to legality but just a change of pace. I think if a brand never tried new things everyone involved would get bored.

@Max Power
Glad you like it! It's my favorite N&F denim to date. It's not really a collab though. The original release had inseams which we felt were just too short. We have a great relationship with N&F so they agreed to use the remaining fabric to make special pairs with longer inseams for us. It's similar to samms and ONI because it was made on oni's loom. We ship worldwide don't be scared I swear we don't bite

It's part of their fall/winter 14' collection, at the earliest it will release in August-September.N&F Elephant 4 seems really interesting, does anyone know when its gonna release?
22oz and indigo warp + weft is really tempting

How's the superskinnyguy fits? Looking at the Okayama spirit..
It's basically the skinny guy but with a taper. If you're looking at the Okayama spirit make sure the inseam will fit you, they ran a bit short and being unsanforized it will shrink 1-1.5" in the inseam

I sized up on mine too, they do run slim.

any opinions on the momo thermal hoodies? really want to get one.
I love mine! Wash in cold water hang dry and you will be fine. Stay clear of the drier. That pretty much applies to everything made from cotton.

and here's a good question for the seeing experts out there..
motor for union - thinking about solving speed problem.. would this one work?
http://www.ebay.de/itm/111229877281?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
It might, Personally I didn't set ours up. But I can talk to the man who did. Our 43200G uses a Servo motor electric control panel and an air compressor. The combination allows us to adjust the speed at will and helps the needle stay even and controlled.

gotta love tigers & denim ^
Agreed. I discovered Tigers and Raw denim around the same time ( 8 or 9 years ago) and I haven't been able to wear any other shoe. I highly recommend stepping up into the Japanese (nippon) made tigers if you haven't yet. Worlds of difference between those and the run-of-the mill 66's you find at Nordstroms. I currently have 3 pairs of the Japan made I rotate and one pair is over 3 years old, and still in good shape. Worth it for sure.

This is the worst thing about Momotaros- the pockets are damn near unusable. I have a pair of 0905SP, which is a loose fit, and average sized hands, and it's a struggle to get anything into or out of the pockets.
Luckily this isn't a problem for me. I cannot stand the feeling of keeping things in my front pockets. I actually haven't used them in about 8 years. I usually keep things in my jacket pockets, or my bag. Occasionally I use my back pocket when not wearing a jacket, and I have never once sat on my phone or anything of importance

is there major difference from the skinny guys and weird guys?
WG is a unique taper. It is a straight leg from the top block until the knee, where it tapers to a tight leg opening. SG is a slim straight but actually has a very moderate taper. Biggest difference is thigh area and leg opening

Not the traditional "combo" which is often referred to in this thread, but I left it up to interpretation. Debatably the greatest combo of all time.

Had the pleasure of seeing him live a few months back. Music video is amazing too.
