  1. how do you guys recommend sizing on 011?

should I go with my waist size which is 29 and pick size 29 too?

or check on some measurements on the thighs knees and leg openings as well?

Waist will stretch to accommodate you. Size based on the thighs down. Personally, I wear a 36 in pbjs and I have a waist of 37-37.5. So unless you have pretty large legs, a 29 might be a tad big.
  2. I'd try and measure them yourself if at all possible. The standard pre wear measurements aren't that useful because we don't know how much they've stretched. If that pair was perfect day 1 and haven't needed to stretch at all, you might get away with a 33 in both of those pairs. If they have stretched a fair bit to accommodate you, you might need a 34, especially because both those pairs are a fair bit slimmer at the knee because they taper heavily at the thigh instead of below the knee like most fits.   For reference, I wear a 36 in PBJ and SG and would go for a 36 with the JB most likely.

  3. I just received my diamond flannel from the warehouse sale and its a tad too big in a 44. Does anyone know if I could shrink it a bit in all dimensions or would a warm wash mostly just shrink the length?

I think these are similar to the Flat Head ones which are already rinsed to remove shrinkage. So unless you want to put it through a drying cycle I doubt it will shrink much.  That being said, which color did you get? If it's the black one and you decide to sell it I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands.

  4. Was looking for black denim and took to the streets of soho... Naturally BiG was one of my first stops. Tried on the NC-011 and they felt perfect! Im on week 3 or 4 and havent taken them off, perfect fit! Does the 011 code refer to the type of fit? Ide love to explore more fabric/ denim options in this cut if thats the case. Thanx!

    It's the same fit as the XX-011, XX-012, XX-013, XX-014, XX-017 and XX-020.

  5. Gotcha gotcha. I've never owned a pair of 301 cut from IH, but I have owned 634 and have 666 as well. I'm thinking if I get a pair it'll be a 30, did you go tts?

Pretty much, have around a 36.5-37 inch waist and these were 37.5 pre soak.

  6. How you liking these? I'm thinking these may be my next pair of denim if I decide to splurge.

I like them, haven't been wearing them as much as I want to because I also have my contest pair of PBJs to wear but these are still really nice. They felt a bit awkward in the top block at first but thats probably because of the weight. They've since settled down nicely. They also seems to fade pretty damn quick.

  7. Thank you for the help! Sounds like I need to go up a size of two. My 710s are a little loose though.

If they're a little loose I might only size up 1. My 710s are on the slim side. Best thing to do is just compare size charts to a pair you already have. With the pbjs, the waist will stretch back out up to 1 inch past raw measurements. And the thigh will stretch back close to the raw measurements. Everything else won't stretch.

I actually have a pair of sz 34 for sale in my marketplace thread. If you want to take a look at those you can see just how far they can possibly stretch.

  8. Anyone here who has experience with both put xx012 and samurai 710xx. I wear sz32 in samurai but I want something with smaller knee and legopening. Do you think I can buy sz32 in the pbj?

I wear both, have a size 36 in the 12s and a 34 in the 710 OG. Went TTS with the 12s and sized down 1 with the 710s. Doing this the 12s were a fair bit slimmer than the 710s. But for you, unless your 710s are on the looser side, getting the same size in the 12s might give you some trouble. I tried wearing a sz 34 in the 12s but they were way too small.
