  1. It was a festival in Boston featuring ciders from all over the place. My company was pouring there and the owner of the company was hosting a seminar on cider making. First time I had done one of these festivals since I am usually stuck in the cellar making the stuff! Fun time for sure but boy was I tired of describing my cider by the end of it.

Cool, interesting to hear about cider, it's not so common here but the beer scene is just getting bigger and bigger.

I know the feeling, you get exhausted after a whole day of just talking to so many people!

Me and a friend have been making beer for a few years now, I know that Mega brews some too? We just got us a new 50L brewer.

Me and some friends also participated in the Stockholm Pride Parade a few weeks ago, it's really one of the best things about summer!

My Samurai's is still going pretty slow but some good things are starting to show, a wash is due soon though.

  3. That's the main reason I wouldn't enter into the tux division till at least October.

Who ever thought hand stitching buttons on a pair of jeans would be remotely durable needs to give their head a shake.

My P.I Hagbergs had hand stitched buttons too, they had a kevlar thread that was supposed to be super strong but mine broke all the time, I guess it was since I had downsized 2 sizes. The thread seemed to work better for others.

  4. So here is my contest pair, I went with Samurai S710xx 19oz, I loved all Samurai Evo from HDWC2 so i figured that I should try it too!

I wasn't really happy with the fit though after the soak and I knew that I had to send them away for some chain stitch hemming anyway so I sent them to Railcar for a taper too, they did an awesome job and I'm much happier about the fit now.
I threw them in the washing machine for a quick 60 degree Celsius wash too when I got them.

And it was time for my final submission too, 2 years has gone past and it's been really fun and a great experience with you all!
This was my first pair of heavyweight denim and I've loved them all the way. When I saw this competition I knew that I wanted to participate with a Swedish pair of denim, we have a lot of brands here but none of them do any heavyweight. The production of it had unfortunately stopped and I had to get a non finished pair directly from the factory, that's why my pair don't have any rivets.

    But now to the pictures!
