at first glance I thought you lock it with rotating it and you can just operate the zipper as you are used to, but seeing it in a video that one has to rotate it to make it move/close the zipper I find it hardly useful. It's a nice concept tho and looks nice on the bag.
speaking of zippers, anyone seen any of those magnetic zipper ends underarmour teased us while ago?
They have them in products: https://www.underarmour.com/en-us/mens/mag-zip/g/3911h
Most have the logo pretty prominently though.

Everything you pointed out about what has to be considered when dealing with wholesale accounts and international distributors is certainly true. My point is simply that the archetype of this structure could stand to be challenged as it operates in part on a roundabout process that in the end adversely affects the customer.
cut out the middle man amiright? only what happens when you get overwhelmed with orders and end up with a massive room full of custom made clothes with no clue whose they are?

It's not just u, my pair does that too. The spot where they join the leather and the material in the back is directly beneath my ankle bone, and the way they're joined causes a raised area that scrapes the shit out of you. Very annoying...
As long as you wear socks it's ok, but seems like an incredibly poor design decision. The way the zipper is located and bends when your foot is in it require two hands to push it together and sometimes it catches on a small spot of leather beneath the lower half of the zipper. For such a nice shoe, these details start to ruin it. I'm wondering if they were rushed a bit more than the typical acronym product, as far as moving from initial design to finished product.
Outside of that, they obviously are very eye catching (white/red) and I get tons of comments and questions. They have their time and place.
Really glad to hear it's not just me on that. Debating selling over that, but w/ socks that cover the anklebone I'm okay, so I'm torn. They're cool besides that.

Zip is pretty cool, need both hands to use it though when I was hoping otherwise.
The left foot heel interface seems to dig into my ankle a little bit, so I have to make sure I've got socks or it chafes. That's probably just my specific pair.
Already had a bunch of people ask about it, most people seemed pretty incredulous about the zipper.

On that note, my data structures class is frustrating because the prof is forcing us to learn C++ while learning about data structures and I feel like we should be focusing on more abstract things rather than learning a new language. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to learn C++ but it's annoying knowing how to do something but not the right syntax to do it.
I just gotta make the best out of this tho.
That's how my data structures class was too... I had some C knowledge from a previous class so it wasn't too big a jump. Biggest difference was getting adjusted to the object-oriented style.

Anode comps are my first Veilance pants - they are such incredible pants. Kept me warm in 20F, and the cut is perfect. I'm tempted to buy another two pairs and wear them exclusively.
