Hate to be that guy, but does anyone have fit pics with the J50S? Been searching and only seem to be able to find stock pictures, and just a few other pics.
I was hugely considering the J78ws, but opportunity arose to buy a J50S for less than half the price of the 78.
Just not 100% yet as it the pictures I have seen look a bit more fitted than I prefer.
I would like to wear this as a stand-alone, as well as a possible liner inside my J28. Never owned stotz so don’t know what that’s like as welll

How is the warmth of the J78WS? Been wanting a liner that I like standalone, as well as to wear inside my J28. I live in Vancouver so its not extremely cold.. but not LA weather either

Anyone can chime in on the fit of moleskin cargoes from last season? I’m usually about a 30. Size S in P23. I assume I would need a 46, would a 48 work if I wanted a baggier fit or it would just be way too big overall? 5,7 135-140 for reference

I've owned both and I sold the J58 because I tended to wear the J50 as a stand-alone and the J58 (by design) is tighter around the waist because of the elastic so it works well as a liner but less so as a stand-alone. I found it also rides up on me a lot.
Thats what i was thinking as well. I do like the design more and i feel i would get more wear out of it even as a standalone piece. How isit for warmth though, isit comparable to the J58? i heard the J58 is beast for warmth.

Just bought my first acronym shell, a J28.
I was wondering what you guys recommend as liners/what to wear under to keep warm.
As much as I like the J58, it is alot of money since i already bought the J28. How does the J50-ws compare?

As some of you guys know, there is an Arcteryx Factory store which carries the Veilance line-up in Vancouver for reduced prices.
Someone was doing this before me but it seems he got banned, so I am here offering the service if anyone is interested.
I haven't worked out a solid system yet, but I will fine tune it as I go along.

Please keep in mind that as much as I love to help, I am making some money from this as there is time and effort put towards doing this. The factory store is a 45 minute drive from my house, and the process of having everything organizing and shipping things out takes time too, so please put that into consideration.

Appreciate the feedback. Don’t think the zipper would be too big of a concern for me. My j28 Is an S, so I’m hoping the M in the J50 won’t have that snug fit I’m worried about
