@andewhall Those look fantastic. What fabric is used on these?

I took the plunge yesterday. Luther's Denim immediately got my attention with its Unsanforized American made selvedge fabric, something really unique and I believe only previously available by LVC and Roy. The numerous other details (especially the offset selvedge line and natural leather patch) and modified traditional fits had me seriously looking. After seeing the offer of 2 fits for 1 I couldn't pass up the opportunity to be a guinea pig for this new brand. I look forward to my first pair, and I will be sure to post up a detailed review including pre/post-soak pictures and measurements.

We have just received some new arrivals from Indigofera. These guys make clothes for men of bigger builds. The XXL has a 52" chest measurement. The aesthetic is rugged wear, with vintage accents, but cut with form fitting silhouettes.
The Fargo denim shirt comes in the deep indigo Fabric 9 selvedge and the Gunpowder selvedge. This is a black denim dyed with the constituents of gunpowder; salpeter, sulphur and charcoal. Both denims are sourced from Japan.
The shirts are made from 14 oz denim. They can be worn as an outer shirt or as a jacket with layers underneath.
They have a healthy obsession with making beautiful fabrics. These shirts are selvedge but they would equally consider a non selvedge fabric and do for other lines. They want people to be critical of the fabric rather than the edge of the fabric.
The Floyd vest is made from the same gunpowder denim as the Fargo shirt and lined with a Japanese wool lining.

@Danny: The sizing chart online for both Indigofera shirt/jackets says the Small fits a 44in chest? Im having a hard time believing that as I have a 41in chest and usually wear M-L. Should I really be looking to get a Small and expect a loose fit? I was thinking Medium in the gunpowder black but it looks like you guys are sold out of both.

Canadian factories had a 5 week hiatus. that's why the last of the fall collection has been lagging.
We got a shipment that left last Thursday, should arrive in store at the end of the week/ over the weekend.
Thats good to hear. 5 weeks is a pretty long break. What was the occasion?

Im still waiting to see the Okayama spirits and the Arctic denim.

They're slow to fade. They fade a little at on the creases at first but I'm on 2.5 months and haven't seen any evo at all since like 2 weeks
Thats too bad, I would have thought 17oz denim would fade pretty quickly. perhaps its the dye? Im currently rocking 19 oz. Elephant 3s that are also at ~2.5 months and they have already faded significantly. However, the E3's are sanforized as opposed to your PRP denim.
You have the Heritages right? Any chance you could upload some fit pics? Also, How much did they shrink in the thigh? Im hoping it doesnt shrink more than 0.5".
Cheers

Does anyone have any updates on these? Would really like to see evo pics and fit pics of the Heritage.

The soft fading gives it a nice vintage look.

So here´s my submission for the current challenge.
I figured, since autumn is coming, I´d do a trip on my motorbike while the weather is still fine. My girlfriend wanted to see Schloß Friedrichstein in Bad Wildungen, a small town near the place where we live. It is a tiny baroque castle, which is in great shape and features a wonderful view over a valley.
Here are the pics:
Same problem with the iPhone-pics: I can´t seem to be able to rotate them right. Dammit.
Sorry for the lighting, the Gopro isn´t exactly the newest model…
Dinner at the castle: potatoe-waffles with mushrooms. Excellent!
Again, sorry for the bad quality of the pics…
Jeans are looking great Dingo. The shrooms and potato waffle look bomb!

710xx is 19 oz
There's a close up of mine not long after getting them.
Thanks for clearing things up for me guys.
Bradl, that shot looks nice and hairy but doesn't appear to be heavy on the slub. Would you say thats pretty consistent throughout the denim?

It took even longer this time to release these as the jeans did not come with the patches on. A leather artisan had to be hired after 10 needles were broken while trying to stitch the patches. He basically had to do everything by hand which took about an entire week.
By hand? Thats madness!

stukovx: How long and how many washes/soaks?

And are you with me - the fabric looks way more regular than I recall it. Still nice and for sure fantastic worn in, but not the same. If the BIG collab comes out in 15 oz, I'll see myself
Do you guys think the 15th anni. 710xx uses the same 17oz fabric as the 500's? If so I'm thinking of holding off getting some 710's until the next lot because I would prefer a much more irregular fabric like BrownMetallic's LOT9 500's.

These are really starting to fall apart now. They need a wash but seeing how they will just get dirty the next day has got me stuck. On a side note, passing by SESF this weekend.
Those are beast!

Hugo: Why does the fading in the top block/thighs look so odd?
