Contemplating of picking up a pair but I have not purchased Samurais in around 7-8 years after switching to mostly RRL. Thinking it's about time to come back.

Does anyone have any experience with Veilance warranty repairs? I have a 2 1/2" scratch on one of my jackets which I purchased earlier this year. I have no idea how it happened, I haven't done anything outside of the normal in it.

Has anyone seen the "Shade Grey" color in person? The color in pics seems to vary from site to site. What site has the most accurate representation of it? Thanks in advance.

I bought it when it was available online…then received the dreaded "turns out we sold it in store" email. Needless to say, I wasn't pleased. This shit happens, though.

Props. Such a great piece and love the addition of what I believe is an insulated hood to a Field Jacket length coat. I'm not a huge fan of the cuffs Veilance has adopted recently, though. (Probably the biggest reason why I'm still hunting for an Insulated Shell in size Medium.)

F11 for that field jacket, really good facefabric on that version, in fact I think the best field jacket colour to date.

Yeah the facefabric is great and I love the colour. Fit is perfect also.

Went out and randomly came across an Ordesa Green Field Jacket shell for $259, which I immediately picked up. I think the model is 9619, does anyone know what year/season this is from?

The Node IS looks kind of short. Would the length of a Medium fit someone 6'3"?

Does anyone know how other MMM leather jackets fit compared to the 5-Zip? Is the 5-Zip generally slimmer?

No..only sources outside Japan are DC4 (Germany), BiG (USA), Take5 (HK and some more), Right Hand Distribution (Australia)

Damn trying them on beforehand would have been great. I hope 2nd is still a viable option for international shipping.
