I just prefer to wear pants with a more regular rise and wider leg, nothing against the pant. One of the better recent pants shapes if you're into it.

33’s and 31’s are all I’m wearing nowadays. P24 cut is nice, but DS blows Stotz away in terms of versatility.

Had them, great pant (especially with no knee articulation) but they’re still tapered

Definitely agree, I imagine its for functional reasons tho as dragging hems could be 'cumbersome,' Personally would love them to bring back something like the P5TS-S lower leg, great slouchy relaxed look.

P31 has articulated knees, a more traditional waistband, a more standard rise, and webbing reinforced hem

P33 isn't articulated down the legs, has the integrated webbing belt, more of a drop crotch look and plain hem. Silhouette on the P33 looks slouchier and more relaxed than P31. P31 just came across as incredibly labored imo. Had both, sold the former

All the most functional and most compelling acronym features lie in deep level revisions to conventional garment construction + patterncutting.

Deep pockets, KG fit block, mezzanine pockets, detached entry pockets, two-way pocket bags, parallel zippers @ CF closure, holster pockets, etc.

Flashy stuff like escape zip, magnetic tape, gravity pockets are largely whatever and more cumbersome than functional (btw, best application of escape zip is always on vehicular entry jackets lol)
