just got my p10-s XS in the mail. for reference i'm 5'4 male, 150-155 lbs 30 waist. it fits perfectly length wise (thank you errolson for making an xs for the short people) but the thighs are tight if you do a bunch of squats. since this is stotz fabric, it doesn't really stretch out as much, but i'm hoping it loosens up around the thigh area after some wear. over all very happy with the xs length.

How big are your quads?  At 5'4, 155lbs with a 30" waist you must have huge quads or huge upper body.  I'm 5'9, 160lbs with a 31" waist and my quads are 24".  I don't think I'd be able to fit in an XS and my legs are probably smaller than yours?

Do you have any fit pics?

Yeah I'm about 5' 8" and finding that itis very dependent on material and style type. Generally I hear if they are 'normal' style trousers you go tts while baggier items is "size for length".

I have a pair of p10 DS in medium, they fit fine. They are just a little long on me but are good when I pull them up. While my ch pair fit perfectly length and  don't need to pull them too high. And I find the CH material to look a little slimmer. But then again there could be a bunch of factors; washing, seasonal alterations(if any) etc.

Now for 23s I have to get a small because they are way too long for me for a medium and look ridiculous when I rise them.

Im 5'10", 80-82 kg.  P10 fits ok only in S for this height. Thas why in L size they looks ugly (articulated knees are in the wrong position). P10 DS in medium looks bad, but in size S - perfect.

CH defenetly isnt looks slimmer than DS. Cuz of more dense material CH have more pronounced and "rigid" stacks.

This is weird. I am the same height and weight and Medium fits perfect for me in P10-DS.

Do you guys have fit pics of your P10-DS's?  Thanks!

@TooAwesomeHere's what I got for my P10-S size M hope this helps

Thanks man!  I was actually thinking of even high at where the crotch seam is but as long as it's 12"+ I'm good.  Can you also measure the waist?

cuff elastic is contrasting instead of tonal, giant sloppy stitches on the inside of the cuff instead of the usual veilance microseam work, inside doesn't look like proper goretex cknit (it's more white instead of the smooth silvery look), seam taping looks bad/i dont see the cool circular reinforcements where seamtape meets, interior stretch pocket is black with blue zipper instead of tonal/white, i dont think the hood of the ebay one has the black suede-esque material where it sits on the neck, the font on the hangtags are bad, the hangtag itself is attached with plastic instead of the stiff black cord thing, there's an extra white tag on the hangtags, the correct color is "Mid Navy" not "Blue" as shown on the tag, etc.

Thanks for the tips!  One thing to note though is that the tonal interior pocket seems to be a recent addition?  I found these pics of I'm assuming older versions of the Arris with a contrasting interior pocket.  The ebay one is way off though, with a black interior pocket instead of a blue one.

That would be my pair and actually the guy who bought it from me put it on grailed again but for $200 more than what I sold it. The reason it delam'd was because I had the pants tapered from the knee to the hem without proper procedure. My tailor added a seam along the back of the leg where it's a bit hidden. Fit wise it worked however the fabric was noticeably affected by the alteration. It delam'd very slightly at first but as time went by as I kept wearing the pants continuously, the delamination got worse.

Your pair will not delam in any sort of way mine did. Follow similar goretex care instruction if you're wearing it constantly wash at least once a month.

What would be the proper procedure for tapering a pair of veilance pants?  I would think you'd need to untape the seam, taper, hem for length, and then retape the new seam?

if anyone is after a veilance arris and spied this one on ebay, avoid it's a fake, a shoddy one at that.

wow that’s absurd. i’ve owned an arris in that color and that is such an obvious fake it’s almost shocking. i hate that fakes of veilance are hitting the market but i guess it’s just the culture :(

It's a obvious fake but the accuracy of these things, down the pull-cord is getting a little scary.

A cursory search of Veilance on TaoBao returns a prolific amount of fake AV. This Galvanic isn't too bad. Still sad

Does anyone know if this is a just fake mock-up or will this be an AV jacket

How can you guys tell?  The only thing I can see is maybe that the cuff elastic is black instead of blue?  Could the colour difference be because it is from an older season?

  7. Has anyone bought the peat monitor down?  Looks like a great colour but I've only seen them in studio shots.

Also, do AV's colour vary even though they're called the same name?  The peat monitor down looks different than the peat field pants.  Also, I've seen several shades of soot across their pieces.

@rmc I noticed some similar marks on a pair of indisces I bought a while back, those ones came off with a little water. If that doesn't work, I'd give Arcteryx a call directly.

What size are you?  I need some help with sizing for indisce pants.  Thanks!

Just wanted to echo similarly poor experience with Cruvoir. Ordered Indisce pants during their sale last month thinking they were in stock. Received multiple "progress" emails like "awaiting stock from our Canadian supplier" and "your order is clearing customs and will be mailed out next week". Then 3 weeks after ordering, I received an order cancellation due to being "out of stock" and was given online store credit...which I quickly contested.

Did you end up getting a pair of indisce pants?  If so, what size are you?

  9. Disagree. A new pair of artificially pre-faded jeans have the clear advantage of not being on the verge of blowing out - as the above example clearly is. This point notwithstanding - I have a hard time seeing what makes these better even from the authenticity standpoint. Fact is, if YOU fade them and then I buy them, it is at least as inauthentic as if I bought a pair of pre-fades. To me, your jeans are, in fact, PRE-FADED!!!

besides the point of it being close to blowing out and that the denim is weaker, everything else you said supports what i said. im saying that there are a ton of people who like prefaded jeans. those prefaded jeans dont even fit to the buyers body anyways so its no different than buying it from someone who put the effort into fading them.

the whole point is that if youre selling your faded jeans then theyll be treated as prefaded jeans. no one is going to admiring them as much as you do. what i dont understand is why you would even sell them? its like selling your dog away because its older now. youve spent an amount of time with them and you build an attachment to them. you should just hang them on your wall and keep them as remembrance of your time together

  10. you realize theres clearly a market or faded jeans right? or else 90% of the world wouldnt have jeans to wear to begin with

if someone were to spend $300+ on true religions or other crap, these would be much better
