no need to go and quote that wall of images if they were just posted one post above yours. Thanks!
Fucks sake, again I ask, what do you do with a £22,000 pair of Levi's?
Or perhaps a better question would be what would you do with a vintage pair? I think if I had the money to afford an £8000 pair of Levi's I think I could afford to wear them.

80s levi's BNWT
with buy it now: 315 gbp
Yama Yama, but what are people doing with these? Do they wear them, that seems out of place for something so old and expensive. So then what, Frame 'em and hang them on a wall?

I stepped up this year and bought my first pairs of LVC's. Two pairs of 44's and two pairs of 47's (love the denim of the 44's and love the cut of the 47's). All models were bought off the bay, would somebody here tell me how, show me where or in general help me date them.

This is what comes to mind when I see the heel height on your boots...perfect. I may just have to order a pair with your specs.

Now this, my friend, is an AWESOME pair of boots!! You've captured such a classic look. Congrats!!
robroy, those boots are amazing.
i take the same size in White's SD and Alden Barrie/Trubalance but my Alden's are 8D while the White's are 8C.
Robroy, great pair of custom Wesco's; i would take a regular shorter heel with that profile but thats personal taste of course
Thanks guys and thanks to Marineabilly for the blog.
The last profile pretty much dictates the heel height. When I spoke with WESCO's custom fit guru I was told I could go down one lift in the heel without screwing with things too much, but no more than that. The tall arch profile of the western last needs the support of a tall heel. In the end I defferd to the expert

Here are my WESCO, boss boots. These were made to order for my very narrow foot. Marineabillys blog (http://vintageengineerboots.blogspot.com/) was extremely helpfully in researching my order before I placed it. Western last in standard heel height. Personally I love the western profile very vintage looking, standard brown stitching on the uppers and white stitching on the sole. Standard Black steer leather, which is quite flat almost pull up in appearance. Vibram #705 half sole with brown painted edges.

speaking of 44's, i just got myself a pair today that i found on sale locally for roughly the same price as on lncc, but old stock models with the beautiful pink arcuates however i was kind of torn in between sizes and couldn't measure them until i got home just now, so i ended getting 34x34, and the waist measures 36" !! do you guys reckon hot wash will shrink them down to 34" (my waist size) ? or should i return them for 33x34 which should measure 35" ???
Hey guys first post here! I've been attemtping to join up for some time but just now got around to cracking that stupid security code (I give up easily).
My 44's have shrunk down to tagged size, 30". One initial warm soak and then a one hot hand wash gave me approximately 30x34 (tagged size).
