  1. For sale are two pairs of denim in brand new/slightly worn condition.

Both jeans are a slim tapered fit. Both retail for 360$+ not including tax, chainstitching or anything else.

First up is the Iron Heart 301s size 33

Worn for less than a week, never touched water(sanforized denim)

No flaws whatsoever, still looks and feels brand new.

Chainsticthed to 34.5 by Kiya professionally. Original length was 36 i believe

so it was a tiny hem.

I am 6 ft 1 and the length is perfect with a little stacking.

    Comes with original tags.

    Starting Offer: 290$

I paid 416$ in total for these jeans. Bought them retail off selfedge.

    measurements here:

Second is the Flathead Se05BSP size 34

Worn by a previous owner for one month

Has one initial warm soak (unsanforized denim)

previous owner had them slightly tapered from the knee down, definitely not skin tight though,

just a more fitted look. The selvedge is still there but is a bit wider than normal.

There is an iphone4 fade on the back left pocket. The jeans are still their original length.

There are no other fades on the denim, worn very lightly, just bought them last week actually but they are slightly big on me. (and im rather picky, believe me)

  2. please stop cluttering the thread with useless comments

    back on topic please.

can i ship a pair of jeans to selfedge(sf or la) to be chainstitch hemmed?

the chainstitching policy on the website says that you guys will only accept jeans brought in person,

but i cant really make it to either location since i am in college right now.

Im about to buy another pair(From another user on this site) and i would love to know if i could just simply

ship the jeans to SE, get them hemmed and sent back. that would be perfect!

  3. I had the iron hearts that i bought last week from se chainstiched to 34" and they are absolutely perfect

(just measured them with measuring tape)

while we are on this topic, i would just like to ask:

can i ship a pair of jeans to selfedge(sf or la) to be chainstitch hemmed?

  4. Fit pictures of 301S.

First day of wearing them (01/08/12).

damn, you sized down 2? how did you even manage to put them on

things like this are what make me indecisive about whether to buy TTS or go down 1 on the 301s

im gonna be buying them like tomorrow as soon as paypal funds transfer in to my bank

someone help me out here ) : i put up pictures on the last page but i got varying opinions

can anyone who owned a pair of 301s for a long time tell me their opinion?

  5. we rarely discount anything we sell, so no, there's no discount code.

we measure the inseam from the cross-stitch of the crotch to the end of the leg in a straight line.

if possible, could you be a bit more specific?

when you say measuring in a "straight line" does that mean along the inseam of the jean

like so? (ltook a picture of measuring my own jeans)

  6. kiya, on the measurements page: http://www.selfedge....easurements.php

it doesnt seem to show how you guys measure the inseam of denim

im about to buy a pair of ih301s online, (tried them on at the store last week)

but I dont know what to chainstich hem them to

i measured the inseam of my current jeans (BiG style http://blueingreenso...id=30&Itemid=41) and it turned out to be 34 inches

if possible could you explain how the inseam is measured at selfedge and possibly what i should hem the 301s to?

If I have the jeans chainstich hemmed once can they still be hemmed again? Would it cost me money(outside of shipping ofc) to hem again if i didnt get the hem length right on the first try?

edit: also, does there happen to be any discount codes at this time?

  7. after going through like 50 pages of this thread, styleforum, HB, and the ironheart forums

i still cant figure out if i should go TTS on the 301s or size one down

when i went to selfedge a couple days ago, i tried on some size 33 301s and fell in love

they fit perfectly, a little bit on the tight side, very snug but definitely comfortable

wasn't much of a struggle to put them on

talked to the assistant there and he agreed that this was definitely the right fit

here are some pictures from earlier in the thread that i feel most represent how the fit looked on me

    from bottom of page 142:

    _MG_4551.jpg

    _MG_4550.jpg

I do prefer to sag a little bit, but i dont want pants that are literally falling off of me without a belt

i really like the fit of the jeans in the images i posted above(though id definitely hem a few inches off),

and i would like them to stay similar to that if possible

    what do you guys think?

should i stay 33 (TTS) or size one down to 32

tbh im not sure if i can squeeze into 32 , i cant fathom how painful it must be, but if it must be done

i will put forth the effort

i am actually new to this whole selvedge business, please excuse my ignorance!

  8. quick question

looking into buying a pair of SE05bsp or f310

i know im a size 34 for SE05bsp (tried on 33 at SESF they were really snug, so im planning to size up 1)

i want a slim tapered fit, but im scared the leg opening will be too small on the SE05bsp post soak/hem

to wear with my clarks desert boot

does anyone wear SE05BSP with boots? or should i stick with f310

  9. You know the 04 are sized nothing like the 08 right?

yea after a lot of research

    and comparing measurements

im actually looking for a pair of sexi04 32-33 and not the 08

    thanks though

  10. someone pmed me saying he was selling a pair of soaked only size 34 sexi04

fair enough, well judging from about an hours worth of research, google search and comparing the measuring charts

ive decided that a 34 would definitely be too large in the waist : /

guess ill be picking up the bsps in the end, be hitting up sesf next week

  11. Yup, sounds like you'd be a size 34 in both the se05bsp and the sexi14 jeans.

apologies, i actually meant the sexi 04 jeans, like zero 4, the ones that came out awhile ago

i actually tried on the sexi14's as well but i wasnt a huge fan of the loose weave

do you happen to know how the sexi04 jeans fit?

you are truly a denim expert, cant thank you enough for all the help

looking at the measurements on the selfedge website

it says the sexi04 shrink .5 with wash and stretch 1.5 after only 20 wears

    this leads me to think i am a size 33 in sexi04's : /

  12. kiya, how is the sizing of the SE05BSP vs the SEXI04?

size 33 on the SE05BSP was very snug on me presoak when i tried it on at selfedge (if it shrunk i dont think i could put it on)

so i understand that i should have sized up to 34 to make up for the shrinkage

am i correct to assume that i should also get a size 34 in the SEXI 04's?
