I was under the impression that Sugar Cane products were all made in Japan, except for some stuff that they mention is Made in USA, but I read somewhere that they also have made in China products. Is that true? is there a product code that can help differentiate one from the other?

I have a pair of lvc 1933 that I want to experiment with and take off the suspender buttons but haven't the slightest idea of where to start.
