  1. you're v. first retail job is hard to get, but after that it's easy. how old are you? just go into a store you wanna work at, ask to talk the manager, give them your resume and sell yourself. make sure you are polite, friendly and dressed appropriately for whatever kind of store it is. try to make an impression - that's all you can do.

i'm 20 and yeah I've gone into 2 stores so far and tried this. Guess I'll keep trying!

  2. zzz full time student.

anyone have pro tips on trying to work retail when you have no retail experience? i've dropped off a few resumes but every time I hear "Wait, do you have retail experience" . fuck no i dont, i worked at a library and for a congresswoman in high school.

  3. other than topo, herschel etc. im primarily lookin for something japanese... i looked at a bag n noun napsack but im not sure it's big enough for my daily use (books, laptop, etc).

  4. uhhh, does TB sell big boy sizes? (think size L in supreme)

    ill send money to whomever

they do but the sample sale was overwhelmingly stocked for size 0 and 1 apparently

  5. anyone know of a good site to use to find/buy good backpacks? obvs i understand this might be a difficult question but I'm on the hunt for a new backpack and really havent seen anything i like (porter is cool but over priced imo, NFP would be cool but not big enough)..

Just an interest check but I recently bought the wool/cotton chinos (sz 29, I'm a 30 and these fit perfect) from Roden Gray and might be tempted to part with em. I bought em for 300+taxes, so I'd want 300 flat for (save you on taxes/shipping) em, or if you've got an interesting trade involving W+H F/W items lemme know.

Again, these are pretty amazing and I'll probably keep em but I figured I'd see if anyone was really interested.

    Hem is 7

    Inseam is 31

    Waist is 15

Keep in mind W+H chinos tend to stretch a little with wear.
