Depends, Whites SD in "normal" leather can come close to 650 CHF in Switzerland incl. shipment when ordered from Bakers and that's with the current exchange rate. In Japan, a normal pair of Whites can run for 900 USD...

Why can't you order direct from White's or Viberg, and ship them internationally? When you order from Whites, you trace your foot, and get pretty much a spot-on fit. let them know how thick your socks are. I just ordered two pairs of Horween SD for 900usd.

I just picked up the 24 oz 5000vx and I was under the impression that it was zero denim fabric in 24 oz weight. I was sad to find out its not Can someone confirm if these are made with the zero denim?

ay...don't tell me that, I just got one in size 30 which is like 1/2 size down. I can handle an inch shrinkage but not 2!

shinobi.....wondering how it went. or am I the only one with S5000VX 24oz super shrinkage. Had to put them up in the marketplace, I'm too old and not interested in wearing jeggings.

do you go for true size for this?

I have S0500 in 34. SD103s in 34.

My waist measures 35. I thought 34 in the S5000VX would fit me and they did ...before I soaked them. They shrunk 2 inches in the waist.

I could probably stretch them, but won't go through the pain. Rather pass them along to someone who would like a pair.

I am going to buy sz35 if I can find them.

cold soaked once, waist now measures 33....basically too small for me in the waist and thigh. Not hemmed. Have pocket cardboard and tags, purchased from Take5 HK. Red tab and arcs. These are a limited release, sold-out on Samurai's website. PM me if interested. $370. BIG has them for $428

I wear 34s in S0500 and I have 34s in SD103s.

These S5000VX shrank to 33" waist...I am a true 35".

I soaked the S5000VX 24oz in cold water for 90min, and hung to dry.

I felt like Gulliver's travels, I couldn't go past the 3rd button. Still can't do the top button. I say size up 1.

The S5000VX is definitely a slimmer cut. And the 24 oz shrank a hell of alot for me, even in cold water. My once-soaked-not-hemmed sz34 are going to the marketplace v soon. My hips and man parts can't take it.
