first 6 months no washes.

washed about 5 times after that.

So i should wait? Or can I hem them 1' too long?

So I got my first pair of 'real' jeans yesterday; the unsanforized slim sugar canes.

I hot-soaked them for several hours but they still need hemming. Is it OK to hem now or will they still shrink a lot when I wash them properly in a year's time?

the ostrich leather patch was a (self edge) collab and that store is not self edge. harder to get=more money.

The ostrich is 180.- euro's cheaper.

But if the leather patch is the only difference I guess it will have to be the ostrich.....

I Hope this is the right thread, my apologies if it isn't.

This is a pair of raw jeans I bought back in 2004 by accident. I was 17 and knew nothing about raw denim.

I (well....my Mom) probably washed them too soon and far too often but none the less they have become my favourite pair.

Now I would like something simiar as the APCs I bought last year turned out disappointing; holes after 6 months.

What are your recomendations? So far I have the Momo X Japan Blue 0701 and the Sugarcane Slim star on my shortlist. Anything else I should consider?

A question to the experts; I came across these two pairs which I both like (same model?).

What is the difference between them? There must be one since the 2nd pair is 180.- euros cheaper.

The only difference I can see is that the 2nd pair has an ostrich leather patch on the back.

I have a 6-7 yr old pair of Helmut Lang raw classic jeans which I love but they need to be replaced.

Tried APC, love the fit but after only 6 months the first holes appeared which is a bit to soon for my likings.

Any suggestions on something similar? (clean, plain, no stichting on back pockets) .

Norse project's two or albam's slim? Does anyone have any experience with these?

Those Rider boots are very nice although I would prefer a goodyear construction.

Alden has similar boots in Whiskey and Ravello Cordovan that are goodyear welted.
