I think the selvage ones are specifically stated. Usually they're not selvage. You're paying for the design not a reproduction of the olden days jeans.

i don't get how the selvage disappears. Do they cut it or what? Shouldn't it just be wider, with the selvage still there?

I felt that the Diors were alot shorter than N&F . My N&Fs were like a 38 and they were EXTREMELY long so I'm quite content with the Diors

^ I agree with the camo's being too tight around the testiculars. Had to sell my pair because of that reason. Felt penile health was more important than denim aesthetics.

it will stretch out but it won't stretch out THAT much. I'd suggest getting 1 more size up. When I got my skinny guys size 29 as well I could button up 3 but after 2 months it was still pretty tight so I ended up selling it. Pants just aren't worth that much pain.
