Hey, I was thinking about getting a belt blank from Tandy Leather Factory. They have two types: "natural cowhide" and "craftsman". Which one should I get and what is the difference?

I got these yen(i think 1890 repro or cut or whatever you would call it) jeans off of the bay for cheapppp! They are faded some(very undefined as you can see). Does anyone know anything about these? I haven't seen these here or anywhere else and don't know much about Yen.
