^ Try going to the first page of this thread, the answer you seek is there.

^ I was thinking of the same thing - miss reading updates on his blog, guess being a Medico is taking up all of his time.
  3. The Strike Gold

s2109 waist shrink very little, any shrinkage from soak/wash will undone from wear.
  4. Naked & Famous Denim

^ Agreed. WTF were they thinking.
  5. The Strike Gold

It's your jeans and as long as your are comfortable and happy in them - it is all that matters. IMO, you would have been better off going with a S1109 or S2109 cut.
  6. Naked & Famous Denim

    Get them hemmed.
  7. What raw denim to get with big thighs ?

I recommend S5000 or SDA 103 cuts. However, the key is how you size the jeans. It looks like you sized down 1 or 2 size to many on them APCs. I am amazed you are able to wear 511 comfortably, with you thigh measurements. Unless you sized them to fit you thighs comfortably and the waist is loose, and you are able to manage by wearing a belt.
  8. The Strike Gold

^ I see your point. My emphasis was on the ability to wear a belt.
  9. The Strike Gold

sg2109 is very roomy in the waist from my experience. Wearing a belt is highly recommended, unless one has a large waist with skinny thighs.
  10. Samurai Jeans

Front and back angle gives the impression of a bootcut, from the fresh fold of the packaging. I think this will settle with wear, unless that is the fit you are after. Other angles represent a nice fit. The denim looks awesome.
  11. Workshirts

Very nice. What size and how much shrinkage after wash?
