Bodyslam, did Red Wing do that or did you have a cobbler do it?
A cobbler did it.
looks like a very decent resoling job; who did the resole? patrick_b, those cigar boots are no Pitt boots; they are on the modified last from Anatomica I believeIt was done by a kind Taiwanese cobbler by the name of Mr Feng.

A friend Mr. å° , in Taiwan !
Done by Mr. Feng from Taiwan too. X-post from shoes thread.
Just resoled my 4 years old 875. The original crepe soles weren't really motorcycle friendly so I opted for Vibram #100.
Pretty happy with the end results.

^^ The hickory book cover looks good. Reminded me of a tote I have lying somewhere around the house.

well no, not considering they're Sanforized. True, Sanforized jeans do shrink a bit, I reckon often more than the supposed max 3 per cent, but not worth worrying about future shrinkage after the first soak/wash.
Why did you soak, btw?
Thanks for the info. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that Edwin made Lees shrink a fair bit tho they are sanforized. Guess the shrinkage should be gone in this case.

I forgot to measure them before soaking but the inseam is around 35" now.

On the same note, I just gave my Edwin-made 1952 101z their initial warm soak. I wanna get them hemmed, should I be expecting any more inseam shrinkage in the future?

Where is Sriracha?
And which section is it that has all the used clothings?
1) approximately 2 hours away from bangkok (depending on your actual location in bangkok)
2) im guessing section 5 and 6 of JJ will appeal most to superdenim users

so my RW 2904's are about ready for a new sole, since the RW crepe sole isn't very grippy or durable, I was wondering if it would be worth it (and possible) to have it resoled with a Vibram Morvis or Morflex instead?
any of you ever had a pair of crepe sole RW's resoled with Vibrams?
i am contemplating on resoling my old 875 with vibram #100 honey. did a bit of searching around the net and found these pictures.
hope they helped.

how'd you manage to keep your left pocket so dark and the surrounding areas faded?
wow. didn't noticed that. got to blame the iphone camera on this. (will take better pics in due time)
i'm so tempted to give mine a wash to see what colors I could bring outyou really should. cant wait to see. your knee fades are really crazy.
