Seul, at the risk of missing the point of your post, I am afraid I have to tell you just how perfect that Buster fit is. Bravo!

^Not sure how it feels, but the fit looks great. I especially like how the color of your ducks are picked up in the lining of the jacket, and even your beard.

Belts
in superdenim
hey everybody, I was wondering if you could recommend me the cheapest decent quality belt? I was looking into buying a corter utility belt, so maybe something around that range?thanks
Take a look at http://www.leathergoodsconnection.com/
I like my wallet and belt by them very much; and they were relatively inexpensive.

ThinFinn: I am really interested in what you find out about this. At about 6'4" and 200lbs my TTS is 34, and I wear jeans lower on my hips at about 35.5 give or take. I am hoping that I can get into 34 OD Busters when they drop, but I am skeptical if they have the same measurements as the indigo's. Please keep us posted.

Oh snap! The plot thickens. Apparently, there is a lot more to obsess about here than I had originally anticipated. The DIY aspect of this has my mind reeling. If I get motivated and figure out how to pull such a thing off, I would shamelessly steal that brilliant idea. Too cool.
Here is the aforementioned Styleforum thread:

Gentlemen:
I remember seeing pictures of a 'going to war' model with black stripes instead of the normal white, which was pretty f-ing cool. Problem is, now I can't remember where I saw that, whether it was in this thread or on another forum, another site, a cool dream, whatever. I have tried searching around to no avail.
Anyone have info on the black war paint model? I'm pretty sure I didn't just imagine this. Thanks.

Double indigo dip...Boston tuxedo?
Works for me. I like the fits you have been putting up Morse. Thanks for the pics.

First day wearing 710s, was painful at first but the waist has loosened already. Opinions on fit? I'm a bit worried about the ole kneebags, but I guess that's a common sight in the first week of wear.
They look great from here. Most 710 fits I've seen around here are more sized up and relaxed than what you have, but I think this slimmer look works out nice on you.

I think those will end up pretty nice on you. I would just wear them around while wet until they dry.
That's a really nice fit!you must've gotten them tapered
No taper here. I'm guessing they look like that b/c of my longish legs. I'm 6'4" and they really are not stacking like the angle suggests; I'm using every inch of the inseam.

Just got these back from their first wash in advance of repairs (thanks again SESF). This is about 7 months.
The light here in outer sunset is pretty washed out today; please forgive that and the cell phone quality. I will post again from AZ in a few weeks where there's warmer light and a few more mega-pixels available.

This is a very nice looking item. I can't imagine what "EZ" stands for however; any ideas?

Sorry to hear about your loss. I'm afraid that I have no idea what kind of belt that was. But I can recommend Henry and the good folks at LGC www.leathergoodsconnection.com/ for a 1.75" belt. (As far as I can tell Tanner does not make belts over 1.5".) I have a nice bridle 1.75 belt from them as well as a long wallet and I am very satisfied with both of these products, which also were relatively inexpensive. They work well with my Samurais.
